Hey Guys, been trying to get more food in to help with stabilizing metabolism and improving thyroid health. My main block is having a weak appetite. Anyone have any suggestions to raise appetite? Any supplement recommendations or lifestyle changes. Appreciate it

@shivaflow some serotonin blockers like cyproheptadine and 10-methoxyharmalan are effective. Also keeping foods with varying macro compositions stocked so more things will appear appetizing based on your body’s needs at any given moment.

My wife refuses to take cypro anymore because of how wildly it stimulates her appetite. Lol

I really don't notice any effect on my hunger, no matter how much I take. Not sure what that means.

Cypro, pizotifen, cannabis, mirtazapine, vitamins B and C.

If you don’t consider taking anything to increase appetite, and choose to do it naturally, then you have to force it. Force yourself to eat more little by little. In time, the size of your stomach and your appetite will adapt/increase.

If you have a microbial problem, antibiotics, antifungals, antiparasitics can help.

Appetite is driven by the demands of your cells, the interrelationships between you, your cells and various generating systems within your body and the anticipatory response between you and your environment. Have you tried eating tastier food?

              Good things are immeasurably costly

@shivaflow May seem cliche but try around and find foods that are digestible to you right now. After that, slowly start incorporating peaty habits/substances like Baking Soda, Bag Breathing, Gelatin, Calcium: Phosphorus etc. Focus on one/few at a time.
