@Insomniac This is not scientific or precise, I'm not sure what's going on, but I get a noticeable increase in body temp, ramping up metabolism when I take 1000-3000mg aspirin with 1000-2000mg caffeine throughout the day. No noticeable fat loss tho like with DNP.

RE: No dose of aspirin increased my body temperature. That it raises metabolism is mythology imo

RE: The pro-metabolic drug DNP, banned by FDA, may treat most diseases
in the bodybuiling comunity its well known to be really damaging to metabolism. It can make you skinny fat really easy, hunge weight loss but also huge loss of tissue.
If anyone says this they have no idea what they're talking about and clearly never bothered to read any of the early or even recent literature and studies on DNP, Tainter's most notably, almost all of which is available on pubmed. They all think themselves clever and somehow contributing to the discourse by repeating the meme that it's a pesticide and "burns you from the inside out."
In the therapeutic and even higher dosages it has shown to be remarkably if not almost completely muscle sparing. Far more so than even thyroid hormone. It is a fat-burning drug.
There are plenty of reasons to avoid DNP but "damaging to metabolism" is not one of them.

@Chud Can you tell us what dose you ran?

RE: 3-4am waking
@temple-of-salt Father Peat said 2-5mg melatonin is probably harmless if needed to reset the ol' circadian rhythm. No need to be so rigid... even high dose melatonin on rare occasions can serve a purpose, protecting against radiation, other stressors.
Also I have no idea how safe or Peat-Approved or not these are but pregabalin / gabapentin have been used by GHB users to supress or dull the surge of excitatory neurotransmitters that normally thrust you awake after about the 3 hour mark post ingestion. As seen on Reddit. Could be worth exploring.

RE: Weight training for a few days consecutively causes extreme "fight or flight" response
@solsasha14 I doubt 0.5mg would make anyone drowsy, that's a teeny weeny dose

RE: DNP=DANGEROUS, high dose aspirin instead?
@onliest according to Conciliator’s posts on the old forums, the anti-thyroid effect of DNP is probably a myth, I don’t see why it would be antithyroid

@mexican_coke_fan Did you keep the weight off or did it come right back?

@mexican_coke_fan Can you tell us more about your experience? Dosing, weight lost etc? Or have you written about it elsewhere?

RE: What to do as a giga fatty?
@dt interesting, has there been discussion on dosing?
I’ll probably give it a go, it’s a fairly cheap experiment. Could we infoceutify cocaine back into Mexican Coca Cola right in the bottle?
