Any experiences with DHT?
-
What doses are people using? Topical or oral? Thanks
-
@angel I believe he no longer advertises it. If you purchase something like Metergoline and ask for 11 Keto DHT(same price) you should get it. I would check with Haidut first.

What ratio progesterone to dht did you use? I find dht a bit adrenergic at times(I’ve had it raise blood pressure when taking too much). Progesterone would surely be the best complement (antagonizer of this effect) and I was thinking around a 1:5 dht:progesterone ratio but never really settled on one.I think this study explains the blood pressure effect of supraphysiological dht.

Yeah, same experience here. The estrogen and cortisol antagonism seems to almost perfectly balance out its AR stimulation, so that you don’t get much suppression at lower doses. (like up to the dose you said)
I find that using the T gives me a bit more of a kick and fun mood, but if I had to pick between the two, it would still be DHT.
I would just recommend that if you do use the T, you probably want to do a full replacement dose? That’s what I generally lean towards.

I've used it, but you're probably going to have to buy it raw and mix the solution up yourself. It's also technically a Scheduled III controlled substance, so I'd advise caution when getting it. Domestic labs don't go through customs, worth keeping in mind. Sad it's so restricted, but it is what it is I guess. Never count out the FDA to sabotage someone's medical autonomy.
I got DHT, from two sources, and I've always worried about quality control since it's from "underground" sellers basically. But both times my reaction was pretty decent. GABA like effect for me, although I think the GABAgeric effect is less pronounced then it is with androsterone. It was very thermogenic, raised temps similar to thyroid or progesterone.
It was okay but I like normal testosterone better. When applied topically, normal T will also generate plenty of DHT as well. The only negative is you gotta be mindful of excessive estrogen elevation. But in my opinion it's worth it so I can get the benefits of both DHT and the qualities unique to T. It's hard to describe, but I start to feel "off" when my T:DHT swings too much in favor of DHT. Some people would insist it's because it lowers estrogen. But I think it's mostly related to the GABAgeric effects.

@brightside well that’s the thing, a full replacement with T just seems like too much trouble, like I’d have to source hCG and maybe an AI if I want to mitigate potential risks? And consider PCT… like my life is rather unpredictable so I couldn’t guarantee the amount of stress I’d have to meet at a given time in the future, let alone getting these substances across borders..
So for now I might just play around with very low doses of T, just to get a feel for the hormone rather than achieve any results.

@jamsey I've tried so many different variations. If I'm being honest, many times I've winged it. 1:1 or 1:1.5 ratio sounds the most common with something along the lines of 20 mgs of dht and 20 mgs of P4 being the most common. The combo is euphoric.
I've noticed an increase in blood pressure on Androsterone and Anavar. Not quite the same case with bio-available DHT

A lot of people would mention on the old forum that full replacement/supraphysiological TD test wouldn’t cause the same level of shutdown or need for PCT but is this really the case? Seems like wishful thinking even if there probably is a substantial difference via half-life not having a constant stream from injected esters. Curious what kind of cycle time/PCT would be appropriate for it (enclomiphene or would you have to pin something like HCG, etc)?
I love the feeling of high DHT but from experience with the usual idealabs stuff I think I would need (as the juice forum BBs say) something “wet” with a dry substance like DHT unless I was just taking a few milligrams. Transdermal test in theory provides both.

@risingfire
Cool thanks for the info. Yeah I’ve only notice the blood pressure increase with large amounts(somewhere around 100s of mg of dht daily over many weeks in dmso). -
@jamsey especially in dsmo. The effects are potentiated. I've only used supraphysiological doses in ethanol or in a pill
-
i got my QSC DHT powder to dissolve in 95% ethanol.
my retarded ass state banned 95% ethanol everclear in 2014 so i had to buy it marked up online from science.bio
https://science.bio/product/ethanol-solvent-50ml/
its non-denatured so safe for application.
i tried in DMSO but DMSO irritates the skin, especially if you want to apply to face, nipples, or balls
-
Has anyone tried oral dht base? I want to try orally in vitamin e. progest-e style, when i get some powder
-
@pannacottas I've gotten normal T to dissolve in progest-e before. The DHT I had wasn't micronized, so I was afraid it wouldn't dissolve well.
-
@Mulloch94 nice, how much T did you put in? T and DHT have very similar solubility i think so it should work with micronized DHT at the same amount
-
@pannacottas I used 50mgs in one teaspoon. I take around 30mgs of progesterone in a single dose, give or take (Progest-E's dropper isn't exactly percise.) But since a teaspoon has about 100mgs, I made it where each dose would be roughly 30-33mgs of P4 and 15-17mgs of T. Of course you can extrapolate that figure out to the whole bottle if you wanted to. I didn't, because it was my first time trying it and I didn't want to ruin a whole bottle of progest-e if I didn't like how a P4:T combo felt. So I just started with a teaspoon. The T dissolved nicely in a hot water bath and stirring. Turns out I liked it, raised my libido more than just androgens by itself. Basically I think anyone who responds well to Haidut's CoritNon (P4:DHEA) will respond well to P4:T.

Not a lot of people, just me after experimenting for years with it and spending thousands of euros to understand what happens upon discontinuation.
It doesn't, indeed, lead to any suppression.

I haven't read of anybody using it due to difficulty obtaining it. Any users out there? What has been your experience?
DHT is just as easily found as any other steroid from traditional sellers.
Mine from PPL just tested at 98% purity. You get blunted emotions compared to T and not much muscle growth. It's pretty flattening from a physical and a mental standpoint.
Makes your face chiseled, that's about the only benefit.Still feels a ton better than Proviron.
-
@Santosh did you have it tested at an independent lab like Janoshik?
-
@Santosh great to see you here! I have always followed your experimentation with great interest!
-
It seems that for most people, the transdermal application leads to a high enough DHT conversion to cancel out any increases in estrogen. Not for me, but most people. Also, if you're using it with DHT, then I don't see why you would need an AI. But you can buy exemestane (30x12.5mg) for ~$40 pills locally (assuming you're in the US).
I personally don't see a need to use HCG. I just use a bit of preg and maybe some DHEA and P4. To be fair, I'm not super consistent with the T, and I think I don't raise my levels high enough to where I lose most of DHEA and p4 production.

Good plan.
