I don’t crave meat- except for goat
-
Why do I only crave goat meat? I find beef, chicken, seafood unappetizing. But I do like goat sometimes. What’s so special about goat?

There is claims that goat meat concentrate more copper

@random
well, I don’t have grey hairs. I suppose that would be a clear-cut indicator for copper deficiency
-
@winters2 could be that it’s on the whole, being less-in-demand, much less processed and less adulterated than the others.

Perhaps it wouldnt

If you eat goat enough you must have access to it. I've had goat like twice in my life. how can I crave it? I never eat it. Steak, beef, shrimp, etc I can crave because I eat it more often. Cravings are cyclical occurrences. -
I’ve had a lot more access to the other foods but they don’t really appeal to me
-
@winters2 I guess you prepare it yourself. it would be costly to eat out all the time. In the usa the only place I’ve seen it is in Indian restaurants in stews and presumably it’s offered at halal butcher shops

understandable. probably some rare micronutrients or minerals in the goat meat? last few years I got my fill of beef and haven't craved meat the same way since. I've had it in African stews and it's pretty good, reminded me of rabbit and lamb. maybe these animals have better nutrients than industrial beef/pork/chicken, is my guess.

@winters2 it’s probably that it’s the least adulterated/processed ergo freshest saturated fat meat, given that beef and even mutton are more commonplace. I didn’t grow up eating it but was surprised to find it tasty when dining at an Indian restaurant.
