Whiter Eyes
-
Anybody have success brightening their eyes and making them whiter? Please share
-
@Aniciete chronic antihistamines, especially H1, can be an issue
-
@onliest what do you mean? One should take antihistamines or nit take them for whiter eyes?
-
@tubert antihistamines are drying and can cause dry eyes. Cypro has been known to do this over periods of time.
-
@Aniciete ah ok, understood. I have never experienced that problem with cypro though.
-
@Aniciete cypro does this to me. I've tried many different eyedrops: vit a/e, eyebright etc., they seem to help only slightly. There's an italian brand that has b-vitamins I'd like to try.

@Aniciete
general good health and purposeful living is vitalizing to the whole organism and makes the eyes sparkle. So yeah the things wise people like ray peat allude to.
If you’re referring to a tinge or more of yellow in the white of the eye or even in the skin, eating vitamin k foods and coffee (with cream and sugar) might help if the cause is jaundice.
To soothe irritated eyes (for example from allergies or pollution) just soak 2 black(Lipton)tea bags in a very little bit of hot water. When it has cooled place one bag on ea eye while lying down. Leave on for several minutes at least.
