I’ve never noticed a “cognitive” boost from smoking. I simply just want a buzz . I can start off by smoking 1 hand rolled cig a day but after a week I am already thinking about smoking as soon as I wake up.

@Jennifer hey Jennifer, have you noticed anything significant switching to Morton’s salt? I have always felt much better on Morton’s salt while sea salts tend to give me digestive issues.

RE: Cold seasons - adjustments in nutrition
3+ pounds of potatoes, lots of eggs, cheese, seafood, some local well cooked root veggies. Only fruit I eat is local apples in season or some other random seasonal fruits in the summer. Never felt good drinking juice, especially tropical juices living in the snowy mountains.

Red meat insomnia
Can eat a dozen eggs before bed, no sleep issues. Eating lamb or beef during the day or for dinner prevents me from falling asleep at night. Feel like it just sits inside of me and rots.

RE: Impact of Clothing on Health
@CO3 It’s in my best interest to wear steel toe boots because I’m constantly dealing with farm equipment and livestock. I’m definitely open to buy barefoot shoes when I’m not working though. Wearing boots for 8-10 hours a day starts to take its toll.
