getting super lean sickkunt

@Zachs Respect for posting a pic (assuming it's real)
But you're not very muscular and you're not that lean. Sorry it's the truth. I had guessed from when I first read your claim that "Bodybuilders would feel better from a reduction of muscle" that you were small and not that lean and it looks like I was right.
Building muscle is not just vanity it is essential to health and insulin sensitivity and raising the metabolic rate.
If you truly did this near zero protein sugar fad diet for 40 days, you almost certainly lost muscle since you claim you didn't even do resistance training. What you discovered is not new or special at all, it's simply calorie restriction. But it's not anti-catabolic.
The whole point of fat loss is to lose fat while preserving or gaining muscle. Your "sugar diet" fails miserably in that framework. What doesn't fail miserably? Moderate/high protein, clen, and weightlifting with re-feeds as necessary.

Well i was 5,11 and 152lbs so yea i was pretty lean and for not doing any lifting, yea i was pretty muscular. Like i said, bodybuilding is a mental illness and unnatural. Yes leanness and muscularity is essential for long life but being overly muscular is stressful and so is excessive lifting and cardio. Theres a reason you dont see any old bodybuilders or even ones looking good into their 70s+.
You can be dismissive, arrogant (ignorant) all you want about what the diet can and cannot do but until you experience it for yourself, you have no idea and are just blowing smoke.
-
Oh and the whole point of the experiment was to see if i lost fat on caloric surplus, i deliberately ate at least 4000 calories a day.
You really just dont understand, but thats ok, im not here to convince anyone. But if the OP wants to lose fat, this is the way.
-
@Zachs Lose fat at the cost of losing muscle?
-
Your one of those guys who thinks they have to have the last word and cant admit when they dont actually know everything. Its your loss but you will learn the hard way.
Good luck in your endeavors.
-
@Zachs Haha ya I'm definitely "missing out" by not taking the advice from the 150 lb 5'11 guy who ate only sugar for a month without doing any lifting. This is a thread about someone wanting to get lean. Your advice will result in muscle loss and catabolism. I provided about 6 studies to support the common sense point that protein restriction on a "sugar diet" is retarded to lose weight.
-
Yes i lost 40lbs in a month enjoying my diet and doing literally nothing hard and looked and felt awesome.
You did a bodybuilder diet, took drugs, did tons of cardio and training to look mediocre for a bodybuilder.
Not the same.
No idea why your holding fast to your vitriol but it really is a bad look. OP is asking to get lean fast, you gave your advice, ed and I gave ours. Move on.

@Zachs robbie robinson looks amazing and is almost 80 . he is probably still on gear though, if it matters
-
@jamezb46 youre being mad and taking this personally. the orangutang dunking a ball isnt meant to make you mad
-
-
@alfredoolivas they both look good and zach isnt throwing stones in my opinion
-
@jamezb46 cole’s advice is still superior to yours for practical reality of the masses and his technique still beats mike fave’s reccs . your advice is for a way smaller subset of people. cole’s advice is overall superior, it just is, it will help more people and contribute to more joy (joy = eating pizza and beer and staying lean with sugar fasts)
-
@jamezb46 the pic is real ive seen it on rpf

Zach looks like a regular person with a regular bodyfat. He clearly has lots of facial and neck fat left based off his YouTube videos.
James looks like a Greek god and has a physique better than 95% of people in the gym.
Zach shouldn’t be giving weight loss advice to OP, who is a lot leaner than Zach in the first place. That makes no sense. How does Zach know how to get to below 13% bodyfat when he has never been this low bodyfat to begin with? Zach clearly has no experience getting shredded whereas James clearly has been and has lots of experience getting shredded
-
I wasnt comparing our physiques, simply showing what can be done with carbs alone. 40lbs of fat in 40 days, no cardio, no huge stacks of drugs, no restricting calories.
Your and James fat loss suggestions are laughable compared to the simplicity of a zero fat diet. Why would anyone use potentially dangerous drugs and calorie restrict while doing stressful exercise when they can simply eat carb ad libitum and cycle fat and protein. Its really that easy yet some people rather scoff and insult instead of just trying something for themselves.
Think. Perceive. Act.
-
@Zachs if it works so well why are you still looking like the average American ?
-
@alfredoolivas because i eat and live like an average american. Did you see the picture i posted a bit back or are you just going off my current youtube videos. If you think i look average in the picture, thats wild.
-
Zachs you a liar. These photos are not from a sugar diet you did recently, as these photos are incredibly old/
You can clearly see that the first photo is very old. Likely close to a decade old.
Not only do you look a lot younger than you do currently, but your face has much less fat, the camera quality is terrible and you used a green filter on this photo - which is a old thing people used to do in the early days of social media.@eduardo-crispino @Zachs @jamezb46
Guys. This phone is an ancient iPhone, as it only has one camera.
This pyscopath is currently, filming his youtube videos in 1080p. This is not possible with the type of ancient iphone he is holding in the photos.
You clearly are using old photos to try to falsey prove that the sugar diet preserves muscles.
-
@Zachs why do you eat and live like an average american if the sugar diet works so well?
