Glyprin: worth it?
-
Anyone try Glyprin glycine aspirin tablets?
Is it available in the USA? -
@Corngold it sounds cringe tbqhwu
-
@sunsunsun
what makes you say that?
I doubt I can even get it. -
@Corngold just the name sounds cringe
-
I won't argue with that but it's a convenient glycine source, good for sensitive people.
I take bc powder which has caffeine.
-
@Corngold The amount of glycine is tiny.
You can and should experiment with tens of grams of glycine per day for a significant effect.
-
@jamezb46 what if I just got it from gelatin - is that advisable?
-
Ya, that could work but you might want to add in glycine because it has therapeutic effects at higher amounts that would require way too much gelatin to obtain since gelatin is ~1/3 glycine.
Or if you're worried about stomach irritation you could take pure aspirin powder mix it with baking soda in water to create sodium salicylate which is gentler or look for preformed sodium salicylate or magnesium salicylate products.
-
@Corngold Why not buy glycine and salycicacid powders and mix them and consume.
-
just buy aspirin and glycine
