      Hello!

I’ve been measuring my morning temperature consistently for a while now and for the last 2 weeks I have been averaging at about 35.8 C (96.4 F), which is from my understanding very low. I have just done some blood tests and my TSH is 1.44 mu/L , T4 is 19.4 pmol/L and T3 is 5 pmol/L. All of which I believe fall within “normal” ranges. I have been following a pro-metabolic diet for a while and my body temperature can raise to 36.7 during the day after meals.

Has anybody else dealt with a similar situation? I am considering the use of T3 - any “non medical” advice?

      Thanks.

I was stuck with low body temp (best was 1 degree below normal, 97.6, mid afternoon) for several months in 2020. This went on for months even though I was taking prescription desiccated thyroid med that had worked for 5 years. I tried taking a "test" oral dose of 300-350mg of thiamine hcl, with water only, 30 minutes away from eating. My temperature went up a full degree to normal, 98.6, within 45 minutes. My inflammation also disappeared and my brain fog cleared. This proved to me that I had a thiamine deficiency/functional blockage so I then knew what I needed to focus on to get well.

@fashmaher How much are you keeping the thermometer under arm? Should be at least 5 minutes.

@GreekDemiGod I use an electronic thermometer and I keep it in my mouth under my tongue. It beeps and I remove it when it’s done. I don’t have access to a quicksilver thermometer.

@fashmaher you have to keep it for at least 5m, doesn’t matter if it’s digital or not.
