I don't think it's even his religious fanaticism that rankles me, more his duplicitous streak. The constant gaslighting about the need to enforce ethics while displaying less than a used car salesman. It seems this is pretty common among mormons in business, a bunch of snakes and crooks.
He acts like a typical BPD nightmare of a person. He's probably never got over Ray's comments about christians were historically some of the worst people on the planet.

@ilovethesea Meanwhile they're insulting @yerrag in his own thread and praising the ban.
Also, Charlie breaks his own Rules:
j. Use of AI.
When he posted a hilariously bad speech by ChatGPT.
k. Disparaging of forum.
When he disparages Ray Peat and forum members
b Harassment of other users, name calling, etc.
When he permits insulting @yerrag's character, etc.
-
-
@Hando-Jin They even admit Garrett Smith is bad at presenting evidence and making arguments when @haidut retorts their claims. In other words, their own guru is stupid and slow by their own confession.

Thanks. for sharing. I didn't get to go back to read these, so they are new to me. I know it's easy to assassinate someone's character when one knows the subject cannot respond. It happens all the time after one leaves a company he used to work in, or after one dies. It's par for the course. I learned that early and I'm never going to repeat that mistake in judgment. Some people you just never know who they really are. But saying that, just one post said about me by a person may still be well-intended even though the way it was said could be seen as derogatory without much more context to it. Some people are impulsive in mouthing off and what they say wouldn't come out right. So all is good with these people. Some of them are already with us in this forum. Glad to have them here as well.

@S-Holmes I'm pretty sure mosaic01 is not Charlie. I exchanged a few DMs with mosaic in DMs back in 2016, and he's not from the US and he messaged me because I'm from the same country as he is. He was super nice and very intelligent.

@Melora
@S-Holmes
@ilovethesea Yesterday Charlie said this; After further consideration, I am retracting my stance on not allowing pro "vitamin A" studies
Thank you. You made the right choice. It is still my position that if "vitamin A" is needed, it is such a small amount, avoiding it as much as possible will yield great results so that accumulation does not come into play. I have seen this work for myself, and many others. In the coming months as we move closer to a low toxin lifestyle the results will speak for themselves. I have no doubt, in the future, as a group we will understand that this was a great move as many will start reaping the benefits of this newfound knowledge.
Interesting

We can definitely rule out Charlie then.

@Luke Do you think Charlie might be suffering with andropause?, I know some people believe there is no such thing, but of late he seems to have mellowed (a bit). It's interesting as now he letting pro Vit A studies on the forum................Dunno

It may be a case of (temporary?) androgen insufficiency - low vitamin A may cause low testosterone and high cortisol levels...

Again everyone going to be walking on eggshells unsure of what they can and cannot say, one day it will be ok to talk about vitamin D the next day it won't total and utter shambles.
It's ridiculous. Ray Peat has mentioned Vitamin A in many of his articles (that come with references to studies). That means that you can get banned from Ray Peat Forum for posting an article by Ray Peat. Let that sink in.

He has mellowed? I looked up that term in two dictionaries (English isn't my native language), but there must be another definition, because mellow is the exact opposite of how I perceive Charlie as of late. He has become an insane tyrant.

@Peoples said in New "Mission" of RPF:
I think he is in the process of changing the name. The email announcements say Low Toxin Lifestyle as well now.
The only thing left is the domain. Which he is likely registering and wil then migrate the site.
And of course raypeatforum.com will then redirect to "Low Toxin Lifestyle"
That's just my assumption based on what I see so far.
I don't think he is going to change the name. He has already threatened people for suggesting it and he's still claiming that this "toxic bile theory" is a continuation of Ray's work.
He is running a standard entryist playbook:
- Identify a respected institution.
- Enter it under a guise of supporting its goals.
- Take over.
- Gut it from the inside.
- Use the respectable brand name and any resources left for your own goals.
Charlie is basically Puzzle the donkey from CS Lewis' Last Battle, doing the bidding of a greedy, ruthless ape (Garrett Smith) while wearing a lion/God skinsuit.

Interesting
Im led to believe
Or assume here
That this is another subtle move to cover his ass
The first being the header changeGrant’s work (books)
Like Peat’s
Is “copyrighted”To add a nuanced change
He may be trying to avoid any issues with Grant hereMy FIL says (attached) is a violation
Understandably on a forum/domain under the mans name and workAgain
If anyone is close to Katherine
If she’s not aware
It’s worth mentioningShe may give zero shtts
And let Peat rest in peace
Or
She might want to exercise her rights for him
And let Ray rest in peace![alt text](image url) https://raypeatforum.com/community/threads/the-toxic-ray-peat-diet-lifestyle-is-keeping-many-in-captivity-ray-peat-never-offered-a-way-out.52612/

@Peatful Yeah, that header=The Toxic Ray Peat Diet & Lifestyle is plain 'nasty', there is no diet, just principles and what the hell did Charlie know of his lifestyle, heck I don't think he ever met the Man!
That is blatant disrespect, leaves individuals feeling directly attacked, and its effects can be immediate and profound

Good to know. Too bad he's gotten on the "toxic A" bandwagon.

FACT. I'm torn between pity for the man and outrage at his treatment of those who disagree with him. If he does soften toward those expressing opposing opinions, hats off to all here who fell on their swords for resisting a tiny tyrant and teaching him a valuable lesson.
