It's too bad he can't look at a person and tell if they're hypothyroid. (Much easier to diagnose than subclinical A toxicity.) Mr. Smith looks unhealthy and hypo to me.

Guys in the low toxins groups are reporting their "Peyronies" has been healed. The low toxin and low "vitamin A" diet makes a man strong like a bull, if ya know what I mean. This is comedy Gold

Good grief!

@Truth it's interesting that he recommends following a low vitamin A will reduce all your supplements when in reality they are taking a large amount. The whole process sounds insane to me. "I don't feel well because 'I'm buffering' in the detox process.'' In the next few months, we should see results of people trying the low vA diet. I'm interested to see what the reaction will be on the forum.
I'm not sure Katherine has a large case to sue and win. I do not like what the RPF is doing to his legacy. TBD, I haven't liked it since Charlie became the "Law and Order Admin" in 2018 or 2019(I have since forgot). This is why I'm glad Ray's work has been preserved mostly his website. I reference it at least once a week.
You are not sure Katherine has a case to win?
Why do you think that?
This isnโt about libel. Defamation. Or slander.
This is about his work- protected by copyright law.Would like to know your thoughts.
Thx

What Christian denomination(s) do Charlie, Garret, ICA, and Blossom belong to? Anyone know for sure?
When the bodybuilders found Ray Peat was when the "community" went from scholarly nerdy types to bro culture, and events since 2016 and covid made the fundies and racists feel more emboldened. Interesting no one ever points out the seething misogyny in all these spaces. That's just to be expected I suppose.
-
@Light Yep misogyny is unacceptable, but on the rise, heck here in the UK some Politicians cannot define what a Woman is!, depressing state of affairs
As a Male I am somewhat embarrassed by BRO talk on here, and RPF. -
@Not_James_Bond you could always say something about it to your fellow males. In the multiple calls for violence against women and rape of underage girls on RPF I've never seen a dude say that's not ok. Yet men apparently were opposed to women having a private women-only space.
-
@Light which is why a lot of women who used to comment 2012-2013 left RPF. Ironic since so much of Peat's work was dedicated to women's health and we were run off
-
@Light Since I got banned for telling an Elton John joke on RPF (a long time ago) I will try to call it out here.
-
Off topic, but you know the worst thing about getting suddenly banned is you don't get to say goodbye. So those who are following your experiments and posts probably think you died. I thought this about someone who disappeared from the RPF last October. Looking back at his anti Smith and Genereux posts I'm pretty sure he was banned without warning. I hope he'll join us here. I have a lot of questions for him.
-
@S-Holmes Yep, People disappear, and you don't know the reason, a bereavement if you will, its sad.
-
the Perry guy used to say something. Pretty consistently iirc.
Iโve certainly said something.
Thatโs when I thought the RPF was a relatively healthy space.
Man or woman: acting like a fcking asshole needs to be addressed.
Say something yourself.
Donโt expect anyone to help you online but you. -
@Peatful Not my job to stand up to woman-hating males. And it's certainly not your place to tell me what to do. Males need to clean up their own filth. Ps how TF do you know I didn't?? Funny, I sure didn't see you, or anyone, backing me up when I was attacked and harassed by several vile males for "saying something."

Mm-hmmm

@CurmudgeonApple He was a Marxist. Not an orthodox one I think, but he saw the ideas as scientific. It defined his work in a way, and as we know he was by and far quite positive about the Soviet Union, particularly Lenin (whose theoretical works he thought were very advanced) and Stalin.
-
@Light It's very true what you're saying, I feel in my personal life women pick up on the basic principles about 100x faster than men, and are likely indispensable for the future of these ideas. The terminally online guys get very comfortable in their online communities and pretend their sexual fantasies constitute ideology.
Ray's legacy in his own words was:
"Ending oligarchy and ending the digital culture are important goals."
-
@Light As far as the denomination of Charlie (I can't speak to the others) it seems to be sort of like a Terry Davis level pseudo-protestantism yet not really. Eschatology mixed with Old Testament LARPing. Not fundamentalist in the sense that there's modern ideas in there mixed in

The cool thing about Marx is that his description of the state of humanity was 100% correct. The prescription, or to be generous: outcomes of the prescription, was questionable to say the least... heheh.
