So after I have breakfast + b vitamins and a bowel movement, about an hour later I have weepiness and crying. It’s happened for the last week.

I thought it was related to the prometrium I was taking cyclically but I didn’t take any last night and it still happened this morning.

      It feels like estrogen detoxing.

For context, I cry easily if I hear something upsetting and I was a kid that cried a lot. I’m 37 female and “unexplained” infertility is my current main issue. However nothing is triggering the weeping currently, it just appears.

I don’t do well with fibre and have upper GI irritation from it but hugely improved with peat principles and gelatin. (Just in case someone suggests raw carrot salad, I can’t handle it currently)

        My first thought was serotonin.

I wouldn't say Serotonin, it rather blunts emotional response, subdued kind of sadness yes but not crying. No idea what effects estrogen has though.

Hi @LucyJ, I can’t recall if you’ve mentioned this, but do you have a history of hypoglycemia? Prior to treating my thyroid, I had frequent hypoglycemic episodes and random crying spells were my telltale sign that my blood sugar had crashed. Within 15 minutes of having some fruit or juice, I was back to my old (cheerful) self.
