glucose milk causing me to be serotonergic
-
Peat fundamentals:
1.) Milk can be one of the hardest to digest. So it is often the last thing many people can add back into their diet. Try anything that scrubs bacteria out of the small intestine. granulated charcoal, carrot, well boiled mushrooms (more fine blend, more potent), bamboo shoots (least effective imo), and oatBRAN.
2.) There is potential that it’s got an unlisted I ingredient, or inflammatory food in the cows diet, that is causing issues, so if you want, try all the clean milk you have access to.
This is going to be the case for any foods you are struggling to digest. It can be persnickety. Danny mentions how one friend finally took a bottle of protest-e (not suggesting anyone try this), and he suddenly became tolerant of milk again, most likely via the positive impact on liver metabolism.
PS, pro-metabolic substances (especially one that heals the liver like t3), could be the thing that moves the dial for some.

@lobotomize do you have labs showing you have high rt3? I take 200mcg of t4 and I have no symptoms of high rt3, get enough selenium from diet and don’t eat more than 4g of pufa and you are fine
-
@beriberi when i took 25mcg t3 100 t4 i was dumb and agile as a brick - my exam scores tanked, and my soccer abilities weren't floating either. once i switched to t3 only my soccer performance skyrocketed and i started heating up to a point in which i feel fine outside in the German winter with no clothes on.
-
@lobotomize at least you arent speaking German

@sunsunsun This is the second time you’ve used that joke.
The first time, no one understood it. What makes you think Im suddenly enlightened and would get it now?

Wenigstens hat er den Witz diesmal nicht auf Deutsch gemacht.

@lobotomize Since trying thiamine HCL again i have found i need 2 grams (500mg split 4x) a day for symptom relief, as ttfd and benfotiamine are inconsistent when i don't eat dietary fat. since our thyroid doses are similar you could try more than 500mg once a day.
-
@ethan i take 900 mg benfo a day, separated into 3 doses
-
@lobotomize like i said its inconsistent if you dont eat alot of fat
also you should have severe over dose symptoms at that dose of thiamine alongside your thyroid. are you sure your thyroid is legit?

The only indicators I have that my T3 is legit are that I get hot after taking it, I can’t sleep if I take it too late and most interestingly, I’ve noticed that when I take it right before or during a game or presentation, I’ll have a 10–30 minute window where I perform exceptionally well. Often, I’ll even forget I took it and only realize afterward that the T3 was likely the reason for that sudden performance leap
-
@lobotomize what brand of thyroid, for me when i take thyroid before bed it helps me sleep very well, maybe you have some deficiency
-
@ethan tiromel from bgpharma.
to be more exact, when i take it 30 minutes before bed, I'm fine, but if i wake up in the middle of the night and take 12.5 mcg i cannot fall asleep for 0.5 to 1 hour
-
@lobotomize i stopped using abdi ibrahim thyroid products as they are too inconsistent with their effects, they work but they are random
-
@ethan Which one do you currently use?
-
@lobotomize CYNOPLUS . every thing else is under dosed, forefront is like 9:1 T4:T3 so its basically useless
-
@lobotomize 10 euro Turksih tiromel from Czech Slovakia, is bound to be fake. If you scan the QR code on the packet on the Turkish medicine app, it will also come up as counterfeit.
-
@ethan thank you

@alfredoolivas As I said, it seems to work through mechanisms beyond a placebo. When I gave it to a stressed classmate, he became sleepy. It may be inconsistent, as Ethan said, but it’s not 100% fake
