American presidential election 2024
-
USA has its first presidential rematch since 1956. Trump is returning .
I am rather surprised that the economy is more consequential than border security for Republicans. I am also amazed at the large disparity in the weight put on abortion policy. It makes me think that the Democrats will win out on this issue going forward. Maybe younger Republicans are not as focused on abortion as older Republicans? I would have also assumed that gun policy mattered more to Republicans than Democrats. In terms of policy, the election will come down to the economy, immigration, & abortion. It is very positive for Trump that so many are concerned about the economy as this is a winning issue for him.
Where Biden and Trump stand on key issues.
US Election guide: how does the election work?.
Biden’s economic ratings are worse than Carter’s .
- 66% of Americans own their own homes.
- If they lost their income, 37% of households couldn't last a month.
- Americans owe almost $17 trillion in total debt.
- Americans' average credit card balances are over $5,800
- The average American has $65,000 in retirement savings
- Over 50% of households had either borrowed money from or lent it to friends and family in the previous year.

Do you think the election will be more fraudulent than the 2020 election?
What stategic mistakes are the candidates making? It is interesting to observe that public health is again almost a non-topic in the American election cycle. This in a country where 88% is metabolically unhealthy. The U.S. spends more on health care but has worse health outcomes than comparable countries around the globe. The average American woman in the 40-49 age range is 178 pounds and is 5'4 short. 8.6% of the American civilian noninstitutionalized population do not have any form of health insurance. The hormonal crisis will worsen regardless of who is elected. I assume we need a cultural shift more so than a political one. Plato argued that most of the education up to the age of 20 should be physical and I agree. 81% of children aged 11–17 worldwide did not meet the minimum recommended exercise guidelines of 60 minutes daily. I would assume this would probably hold true for around 95% of American kids. The lack of recess in public schools should be illegal.
Physical Education in schools in 1960's.
You're Not The Man Your Father Was.
Lack of physical education. It is hard to find info regarding public health policies that is not focused on medicine. Publich health politics in the west can be summed up as: learned helplessness.
In fiscal year 2020, governments spent a combined total of $347 billion on health (excluding insurance programs like Medicare and Medicaid.)
That comes out to $1,043 per person.

Abortion is wonderful and Im pro in all stages of pregnancy for it. A woman who would abort her 8 month old child should certainly not reproduce.
Should this woman pass her genes down? I dont think so.
Its mostly non-whites and the white trash who does it who's existence is a burden to society. No one wants more ghetto children.Conservatives must adopt to the times and understand that a 'christian' traditional society will never return. In Canada conservatives are doing very good now as they are more focused on fixing the economy, neutral on abortion, pro-putting criminals in jail, reducing immigration and against trooning children. This is the best way to win over normies.
But it also goes to show you how bad things will have to get before people come to their senses.A lot of states put this issue separately on their ballot so it should not have bad effect on republican chances.
-
@Kilgore I agree. We should mainly focus on everything related to eugenics. It looks more and more like Trump will win the election. Hopefully, this will lead to deportations and less tax on the white middle class.

@Norwegian-Mugabe
George Webb thinks Trump will be pulled and they will insert Mike Flynn:

Hello @Regina thanks for the info. I doubt it. Flynn is even more Persona Non Grata than Trump to the occupancy class.

Road to the 2024 US Presidential Election
The United States is nearly five months away from a presidential election that continues to defy historical norms. President Joe Biden has the lowest level of support of any incumbent in modern history. His opponent, former President Donald Trump, is currently on trial in New York facing 34 felony counts.
At this point, there are a number of indicators that suggest turnout in November will be lower than in the last three elections. The most obvious is the lack of enthusiasm about a Biden vs. Trump rematch. At the beginning of the campaign, 59% of voters thought that both candidates were too old to serve a second term.
I wonder what is going through the minds of the 24% who thinks America is improving.
Trump is winning on the economy and immigration.'Debt is the blind spot in the US presidential election'.
Over the last five years, the federal deficit has averaged 9% of GDP. This is four times the average since 1945, and nearly double the average for other advanced economies.
-
@Norwegian-Mugabe I wonder if they will be able to steal this one. I saw that they still predicted to win the senate or the house so that's pretty bad.
-
@Kilgore It seems like illegals will be able to vote in some states. I do not think the election will be stolen this time around. Trump is a better president for almost everyone, including most of the elite.
It seems even more likely that the House will remain Republican. There are 34 senate seats up for graps in 2024. 23 of these are from Democrats or Independents.
This is the latest Senate forecast:If the Republicans end up with the President, the Senate, and the House for two years we can end up with a very different America. A better America.
https://www.nytimes.com/article/senate-races-2024-election.htmlBipartisan border bill loses support, fails procedural vote in U.S. Senate.
The Senate bill failed to advance on a 43-50 procedural vote. The chamber already rejected the measure as part of a broader foreign aid package earlier this year. The bill, negotiated with the White House and a bipartisan trio of senators in the hopes of winning broad appeal, would have overhauled immigration law for the first time in more than 30 years.
"It is an election-year political stunt designed to give our Democratic colleagues the appearance of doing something about this problem without doing anything,” Tennessee GOP Sen. Marsha Blackburn said Wednesday.
Even if the border security bill passed the Senate, it would have no chance in the House, where Johnson has vowed it will be dead on arrival. "We are disappointed that the Senate will once again vote on an already-failed border bill in a move that only splits the Democratic Caucus over extreme and unworkable enforcement-only policies.". -

This happened once already during the first 2 years of Trump... And they got nothing done.
-
@Kilgore Sure, but the sentiment is different now. The Republicans are drifting away from being Necons. Things will be somewhat different this time around. It is also important to remember that there were tax cuts and deregulation during the first Trump term. This had a positive effect. We can hope for more, but politics can only solve so much. Ultimately, we need to create a new culture to replace the existing one. Politics are important to free us from libtards and socialistic restraint. A blue wave will help us in the culture war. A blue wave is also a signal that we have won some cultural battles. Legacy media is losing and we have won through on many fronts. This can aid in creating a civilized culture based on: health, family, and freedom.
-
@Norwegian-Mugabe Nice I like your thinking.

@Norwegian-Mugabe Again, consider the fix might be in for a trump rug pull and an attempt to stoke another J6. https://x.com/RealGeorgeWebb1/status/1795666664304136326

Hello @Regina, they will attempt to steal the election as illegals will be allowed to vote. I just hope and believe that Trump's margin is enough to carry the victory.
‘A dying empire led by bad people’: Poll finds young voters despairing over US politics
Speaker Mike Johnson promises a Republican mega-bill that would define Donald Trump’s second term
Back in the 2017 timeframe and in previous years, we Republicans kind of took a single-subject approach to reconciliation. We did one round of health care reform, one round of tax reform. But we’re looking at for [fiscal year 2025], we want to have a much larger scope, multiple issues to address in addition to the expiration of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
The core of any bill would be addressing the individual tax cuts passed under Trump that are scheduled to sunset in 2025, and are estimated to cost trillions to fully renew. Johnson and other members of leadership have also discussed new border security measures, as well as policies to promote energy production.
