@alfredoolivas Ray's fave coconut oil is so metabolic it made him loose 5 lbs and lower his thyroid dose... He was adding 2 or 3 teaspoons to his rice dinner when he experienced this.

I share a similar experience with coconut. I use mainly coconut milk and coconut yogurt, and need far less thyroid and quite a bit more calories (roughly 300) to maintain my weight when they’re a regular part of my diet. However, I’ve never developed a goaty smell from coconut like Ray said he experienced.

@Jennifer wow, that’s really cool. I haven’t experienced much weight loss with it yet, but it did increase my hunger with no weight gain which is cool. I think it also helped my sleep a little

@LetTheRedeemed, that’s a good sign. I use hunger as a gauge for thyroid function. My dad’s, mum’s and my appetite increase(d) when starting (standardized) NDT and increasing our dose.

As an update, I think I may of hit an EFA deficient state because I got tanned a couple weeks ago and both my forearm skin is not renewing, it is staying brown and it is really dry - covered by white dots. I asked AI and it said that this could be due to a weakened skin barrier. This ga never happened before

I am going away for a few days, so I'll be off the protocol lol. I'll try not to unsaturate my body! But often it's kinda unavoidable.

@alfredoolivas hi, I suggest to not weight your self and not pay attention to scale weight, meaningless value for the most part, you can weight more on a scale and look leaner and better and mog more than the day prior even tho you weighted less the day prior
