@Kilgore usually in the morning. It coincides with gelatin I believe; I think it’s due to digestion. A month ago I experimented with a diet high in plantain flour - 2/300g a day. I cooked it as a porridge or used it in baking. I felt like dog shit. Cold, no energy, constipated etc.

It’s nearly all resistant starch and I believe it’s digestion stole all the blood flow, to my stomach.

When I eat gummies in the morning and night, I get cold and feel tired. Yesterday, I did not use enough water in my gelatin, I felt cold, no appetite, etc.

So I think jelly like foods such as gummies or plantain porridge, must create a brick in my stomach.

This has its benefits on appetite, but I believe it’s a balance. I’ll try replacing the gummies which are quite tough to chew! with marshmallows and use more water in my gelatin and see if it solves anything. Willing to drop the gelatin too if it doesn’t.

@Kilgore it seems like the high salt also relieved my symptoms, I did not feel this way on the same diet when I was having plenty salt. Currently consuming 3G salt.

But I suspect it takes time for my gut to clear out, so, I don’t expect changes within a few hours of changing the diet. and it could explain why i did not experience at the start of last week

                Week 16: 81.1kg to 68.8kg.

I think water is so important. Like, wow. i don't need to overhydrate. <2l a day from food and drinks

yesterday, I was feeling REALLY euphoric. Estatic. Realised I was drinking a bit more than usual. This is a classical warning of incoming insomnia.

So I stopped drinking past 9 pm. Had my rice, did an insane bike ride and at the end I was not thirsty and only drunk some water at 2 am. Slept okay.

Jan was my childhood hero and I cried myself to sleep when LA beat him again and again. So it's the biggest compliment you could receive from me.
