@alfredoolivas I got my dad eating less starch and more sugar, plus 2 coffees a day and NDT, he's lost 10 lbs in 2 months just changing that. Boomers got the easy health problems lol
I started calorie counting doing whole fruits w/ Mike Fave's free metabolic calculator and my pants are bonafide looser
-
@alfredoolivas What would you say the most powerful intervention was? low protein?
-
@autistas123 cutting out fructose entirely. I did this in December and lost 5kg too whilst eating 300kcal more and eating more protein.
Durian Rider type exercise helped me overcome the sugar via exercise, but at some point I stalled. I swapped the sugar for cassava and that is why i saw constant weight loss, faster than the start.
Every stall, can be attributed to sugar or dopamine agonists. Once these are gone, the weight fell off. Time and time again.
Fructose can be made endogenously using aldose reductase. Both glucose and sodium raise this enzyme. The elevation of the two is a large reason why I think not all see success on these type of protocols.
Actually, it was 7.5mg of tren hex, providing me with 5mg elemental trenbolone a day. For 10 week. Followed by 10mg of trenbolone hex a day. Providing me with 6.6mg trenbolone hex a day. For 5 weeks. Yup. We see this time and time again. Itβs that easy. Because you know. Cortisol is and thyroid is everything man.
-
Anyway weβll see. Itβs been 23 days without tren and a few months without fructose
-
@alfredoolivas the fructose part is interesting for sure, since it is my understanding that exogenous fructose raises fgf21 the most. I wonder how endogenous fructose production influences fgf21? Although as you say the consensus is that aldose reductase isn't optimal.
