        Wrong approach.
Glycine optimize the calming pathway (Gaba-like). One cup tea every 4-5 hours would do the job. Mind accustomed dose (shorter) or you'll loose the benefits. No more than 3-4 for cups. Make a break on weekend, not to overload Cyp450. Or one week after 3 weeks.

            I repeat:
glycine = gaba-like effect or calming effect.
You feel foggy => too much glycine. Still useful for general purpose (...). Adapt the dose.
you need inspiration => tea has gradual and long-lasting effect on serotonin.
However, if you don't take into account the accustomed effect, it will be a transient effect.
            Excerpt:
Mental Clarity and Calm with L-Theanine
Compounds found in tea, such as L-theanine, have been shown to positively affect focus and mental clarity. L-theanine helps calm the mind while enhancing alertness, making it especially helpful during long days of classes or study.
