how do you survive 30c
-
I need to work but the 30 degrees make me rather inefficent / uncreative , theaverage portable air conditioner makes me sneeze non stop. What do yall do to keep cool during such hellish summers?
-
@lobotomize I just don’t work and lie in the sun and contemplate my life. It then gives me the vitamin D for the redemption arc caused by being lazy. Repeat every 12 months

Good dattes, ripe fruits, fresh raw milk, warming foods in the evening only, no clothes if in shade, black or dark clothes if in the sun

black or dark clothes if in the sun
Not a good idea: dark color keeps the warmth, light color reflects the light and thus the warmth.
Ample clothes to keep air between the skin and the tissue.
If you can manage: a hand towel or a washcloth with one frozen cubic water, kept in an adapted small cupboard to keep frozen food. => Applied on the neck and the wrists. -

There is people living in the desert wearing darker shades from deep blue to black even tho they have black skin, they looks healthyers and more robust than the guys from Saudi Arabia wearing white in the desert. I don't wear tight clothes

Yes, you're right if you want a skin protection. Filtered. If you wear a dark hat, the protection is optimal against sun radiation. But in case of emergency when feeling too hot (high heat) the problem is not there ... We want to reflect the light.

White clothes are not sufficiently reflective to stop the sun from hitting the skin more than black clothes, animals in the desert don't white max for the most parts, silver ants wich color is claimed to be optimal and/or adaptation for intense sun, are brown and shiny reflective silver. I mentionned above, if you are in the shade and still feel to much heat, better to not wear any clothes

@alfredoolivas i dont understand how people can relax via doing nothing
-
@user1 @luch white clothes vs black clothes doesnt matter much in 30 degrees im sweating so much my nipples can identify as raisins. Yet im still becoming more lazy less creative /focused on my work. By work i dont mean stressful deadline work.
Excessive Heat makes people cognitivly special :

Not eating ton of refined sugar, not being depleted, being with people you want to be with, being in a low emf environnement, whole milk dairy depending on the source. Some foods are pro lying down and doing nothing

@user1 not eating tons of refined sugar????
Eating ton of refined sugar is not pro relaxation, it can make you stoned or make you move a lot depending on other factors, yet not relaxed. Refined sugar is one of the sloppest things you can consume for most people

@user1 im not trying to relax

@lobotomize You are healing your body, thinking, reflecting. The first part was BS XD.
But you are thinking, reflecting, and helping your health XD. Sunbathing is not doing nothing lol. I do it for 30 minutes to an hour a day. Even when it's just sunny. Not a heatwave. Europoors have to.
