Herbal crock pot drink - 8 hour boil

Turmeric root (or dried turmeric pieces)

Ginger root (fresh or dried)

Astragalus root

Ashwagandha root

Rhodiola root

Burdock root

Licorice root (use sparingly)
Hard spices, seeds & mushrooms

Black peppercorns

Cinnamon sticks (or cassia bark)

Cloves

Cardamom pods

Fennel seeds

Reishi mushroom slices (or chaga chunks)
Suggested starting quantities (strong 4 L batch)
Dried berries (1–8): 25–40 g each
Roots (9–19): 15–30 g each (licorice only 8–12 g)
Black peppercorns: 1–1½ tsp
Cinnamon sticks: 2–3
Cloves: 6–10 whole
Cardamom pods: 8–12
Fennel seeds: 1–2 tsp
Reishi (or chaga): 15–25 gMethod
Add all 25 ingredients to the crock pot.
Pour in 4 litres of water (or enough to sit just below the max fill line).
Cook on low for the full 8 hours.
Turn off, let cool slightly, then strain well.
Store the liquid in the fridge (keeps 5–7 days). Dilute to taste when drinking. -
