Peatiest Alcohol/Cocktail

Currently nursing a cocktail I threw together consisting of two shots of Four Roses Bourbon, two shots of espresso, a half cup of milk, and 2 tablespoons of maple syrup. It is quite delicious.
I know that others have posited that rum would be the peatiest liquor given it is made from cane sugar.

@onliest Rum is not made from cane sugar. It is made from the molasses and extra trash that are the byproduct of sugar production. There's maybe one type of rum that is made from cane sugar. Well, Cachaça is made from pure cane sugar but it differs from rum in taste. I prefer either that or (good!) vodka for alcohol.
The cocktail sounds delicious btw!
