@Santosh extremely not peaty
And ?
Dandruff or scalp irritation? Try BLOO.
@neverever said in Why does only starch raise my temp well? (and sugar not):
@Santosh do you think its possible to fix microbiome while taking ppi? Or first have to fix gut lining or whatever and just deal with it. I have mastic gum and carrot salad, raw honey and lots of coconut oil but i still get white tongue in the morning
The only way to fix your gut is a raw carnivore diet

@Santosh easy there brother - you’re ganna hurt yourself.
You may notice that the original question in the post was about Dr Peat’s thoughts on creatine (not what current studies/conventional wisdom are for dosing creatine). My response was saying that I recall Dr Peat saying that a dose of 5g per day is too high but cannot recall the exact reasoning. Now the concern of ‘overdosing’ would be in light of this paraphrased Dr Peat statement - not because I think it’s a concern.
So if anything - I would say that I’ve taken this thread more seriously than you by actually answering the question at hand and not making assumptions about the users and their comments.
So as you say be rigorous.
I was refering to your "lol" which was useless.
Don't do useless things, it's annoying.
And stop writing lengthy paragraphs, it's highly feminine. I can almost picture you beginning every sentence by "excuse me but" when talking in real life.

@Crypt-Keeper I've ordered dht base from QSC and had it tested at Janoshik, came back with 98%+ purity. Imo they are legit and they have better prices that PPL anyways.
Thank you. Have you tried DHT in DMSO? Do you feel anything? I also have some DHT from PPL (same shipment) which has slightly different characteristics to the T base so I might try it in DMSO to see if at least that is legit.
I have tried alphagels DHT in DMSO which gave me the most insane contact urticaria ive ever experienced. Like an allergic reaction that lasted for about an hour or two, made my skin lizard-like and stang like crazy. I dont know what quality DMSO he used but that reaction is enough for me to never try DMSO again.
So i couldnt really tell any effects from the DHT because of that reaction.
However QSC powder dissolved in 95 ethanol (managed about 35mg/ml, im getting anhydrous 100% ethanol soon which will give a better concentration) produced noticeable effects, like strong reduction in estrogenic libido, mental clarity, and a sense of calmness.
Also dry scooping 100-200mg powder and swishing/holding with some raki is probably very effective too because brought my strength back up to my previous peak after almost a month of no training, and definitely produces the same calmness effect.
And you don't experience that peak strength with transdermal DHT ?
@yerrag said in Creatine and Ray Peat:
I'm with you.
Peat has made references to A Greek doctor and his clinical experiences on treating patients with urea and with creatine.
Urea used on wounds has antibacterial effects in that it cleans up decaying flesh in the wounds, thus depriving bacteria of food and in this way stops infections dead on its tracks. I use urea on my wounds and on my pet cats' wounds. Very very effective.
It has a similar kind of effect when ingested, as it goes to the liver and heals the liver. I've taken 30g/day for two weeks each time, and have seen my ALT and AST enzymes go down.
However, urea is deactivated past he liver and does little internally. And this is where creatine is used.
I would put 30g urea and 14g creatine in a liter of water and drink it throughout the day. At worst, the creatine would do nothing. As that has been my experience once.
But I plan on taking this shortly for two weeks, as I want to see the effect on my ataxia (or Parkinson's). My theory is that creatine would work like urea on the protein sediments or sludge on the blood vessels and clear them up. I can see this in the ESR going down if it works as I think it should.
With ESR going down, blood flow would also improve and the delivery of nutrients and oxygen to the brain would improve, and as a result my symptoms of ataxia would go away.
Don't use creatine if you are still drinking coffee, it will make you pee like a horse and wake you up multiple times at night.

Slightly different characteristics ?
Based on what ? What you've read on forums ?These are two completely different hormones with completely different feelings, not "slightly".
I really wonder if you are for real sometimes
"Slightly different characteristics" in that the DHT that PPL sent me is a lot more fine; it's almost like powdered sugar. The T base they sent me is definitely a larger particle size, not quite the size of granulated sugar but definitely not as fine as the DHT. If I touch the DHT powder it's fine enough to get into my fingerprint grooves, and needs to be rinsed off; whereas the T base is not and can simply be brushed off. So they definitely sent me two different substances. I can tell my looking at them and feeling them that they are not the same.
And there are plenty of people out there that have claimed to get bunk from PPL. And why wouldn't PPL send out a certain percentage of their shipments as bunk? Customers have no recourse. It's not like they can call the police about it. And anybody who complains about it on a forum is accused of posting a "fake review". PPL simply says that everybody is lying, which is very convenient.
I order from PPL every 3 months since 2019 and send a sample everytime to Jano.
Everything comes back at 98% purity.

Stop loling unless you also use pronouns to define yourself.
Keep a serious tone, work hard, have values, stop taking everything lightly, be rigorous.

Your powder is bunk, indeed.
I guess I will send it off to Janoshik since it's probably important to know what I'm taking into my body with DMSO.
I found it strange that PPL had a message on their website saying not to test with Janoshik and anyone who posted results from them on a forum would be banned from buying again.
Guess I'll look elsewhere for raws.
Nothing strange about this, they just don't want you to claim a refund based on a testing piece of paper that could have been after you sending anything to Jano.
How can you prove to PPL you actually sent testosterone for testing and not sugar ?
@neverever said in Why does only starch raise my temp well? (and sugar not):
Ray peat wasnt vehemently against starch and so are many people here that are consuming it even daily but still many people are saying Sugar to be superior to starch so I wonder if this indicates something wrong in my metabolism?
I need starch to get going really else ill stay at 36.3 from waking but i eat starch i get to feel warm in my whole body and temp goes to 36.7 underarm and i feel better. I eat sugar in for breakfast like Pear juice, gelatin, fruit, honey, greek yogurth and i dont find it to raise my temp really at all. At night i eat sugar to keep my hands warm and works but also not fantastically but i cant eat starch so late due to gastritis and ppi cause me digestion problems.
Because you have dysbiosis and only starch moves you bowel enough for bacteria not to stagnate and release endotoxins.
