Any literature/studies showing that Diabetes is not caused directly by eating sugar?posted in Literature Review
I know it is apparent within the peat-sphere that eating sugar does not directly cause diabetes, but I can't help my poor parents on this topic because "science" says that eating too much sugar is bad for you.
Does anyone know of any "peaty" studies off-hand that point to diabetes being a problem of a fat-oxidized metabolism rather than a glucose-oxidized metabolism? In hopes that I can help my learned-helplessness parents.
