So it works better on rotifers but would presumably be less effective on mammals? I always knew knew being spineless, cold-blooded, and ciliated would pan out well for me.

@dan-saintdominic As an anecdote, I know of a woman who had a rare disorder where some specific nerve was damaged/underdeveloped since birth and it caused her a host of minor issues. After having a baby, all issues associated with that nerve vanished. Who knows what miracle of stem cells caused it to happen, but it's certainly interesting. Also, pregnancy makes boobies bigger, an obvious benefit.
