@Sugar how many old paintings have you been looking at that depicted young women from the average population? Most old portraits would have been of rich or otherwise important women, and not necessarily young. So imagine if most of the photographs of women that you saw online today weren't sorority girl selfies, but rather photos of politicians, authors, royal families, etc.

RE: Favourite idealabs cosmetics?
I had an interesting experience with emodin. I took it for several days and had a terrible flare-up of eczema acne and hemorrhoids, which I assume were all being kept in check by cortisol? I stopped because I'm wondering if my cortisol levels are actually too low in general. But I believe the product is highly effective, just not a good one for me maybe.
Anyway, I regularly use and love a bunch of the other products. I have to be careful with his DHEA products also, because if I take too much I'll get acne.
Regular use of solban over several years has faded hyperpigmentation on my face significantly.

RE: Thyroid supplements leading to lack of drive & deteriorating energy
@bhspeat said in Thyroid supplements leading to lack of drive & deteriorating energy:
Then, after reading about ideal dosing and more, I tried a homeopathic supplement ‘thyroidinum 3x’. It’s supposed to be sheep glandular. Tried this for 2 days — again lost all motivation, drive, had ears ringing in the morning, etc
The homeopathic product at best only contained a tiny micro dose of thyroid, most likely it contained no actual thyroid at all. So any negative reaction you experienced was probably either completely unrelated or a "nocebo" response.

RE: Vestigial Organs in Light of Bioenergetics and Thyroid
@yeehawyinzer I'm pretty sure that most of those are not considered vestigial any longer, or at least, they're not considered as being without important function.
The coccyx is very important: https://www.spine-health.com/conditions/spine-anatomy/anatomy-coccyx-tailbone
The appendix is very useful: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/10/071008102334.htm
Weston Price and Mike Mew are both good sources on the importance of the wisdom teeth.

RE: What are your thoughts on germ theory and virus denial?
@Sugar definitely both. Taking a binary approach and declaring that it can only be one or the other seems profoundly silly to me. I've been watching the people who claim that viruses haven't been isolated for a while now, and they come across like a cult. They keep repeating the same lines over and over, using almost the same wording, and don't seem very capable of original thought, or of understanding the science that they are attacking or quoting.
But saying that terrain doesn't matter is just as silly.
