@mostlylurking I've started trying Thiamine HCL 100mg/day a few days ago because of my high simple sugars intake, nothing out of the ordinary so far but no bad side effects either

What is usually recommended but didn't work for me regarding constipation:
- Cyproheptadine at 2mg/day
- Thiamine HCL at 100mg/day
- 2 carrots per day
- Magnesium citrate, up to 2.5g/day
What worked but inconsistently:
- Coffee, from 7g to 45g of grounds per day
Things I have yet to try but are in the books:
- Cascara
- Nicotine

RE: How to reverse suppressed appetite as a result of prolonged ADHD medication?
@Peater0921 I'm 125 lbs at 5 ft 10 and I have the same issue, I'm never hungry.
I tried cypro 14 days back in spring and it didn't have any noticable effect apart form making me tired throughout the day, I was taking 2mg every evening.
When I eat, things usually stay on my stomach for longer than I would assume is the average and the same I think is true in my intestines. Sometimes when I eat a big meal it stays on my stomach for 3h or 4h, and so I'm not hungry at all, I'm even repulsed by food.
I never have diarrhea, but very often constipation. I also have some kind of malabsorption because my stools are very often light in color and float, despite the constipation.I'm interested on how to increase appetite through improving gut motility and absorption as well, if some posters have insights.

RE: A Bioenergetic View of Bioenergetics and Forum Structure
@Amazoniac Very good and rather pressing suggestion imo, unsurprising coming from a great poster from RPF. I personally like tags and advanced searches, but the present subdivision of this forum is lacking, especially if it was grow large.

RE: Supplements that have ruined your health
@Harlock Pretty much sums it up; you have to try for yourself and be diligent about journaling your experiences. Also I can't stress enough only trying one supplement or diet change at a time otherwise you'll confound the variables and it will be lost time and energy.
