No craving for protein, only carbs
hi all
i try to hit 200g protein a day from eggs/red meat/chicken/gelatine for bodybuilding purposes, but I never actually want to eat it.
I could tolerate it and scoff it down up until recently, and recently I have started using tyromix + androsterone from idealabs. as soon as I started taking these, my appetite is so much lower overall. and when I want to eat I only want to eat carbs and fat.
they've done a good job at raising my temps and performance, but the downsides so far have just been bad appetite, cracky/sore joints and restlessness at night time. i feel ready to sleep yet i'm laying there breathing extremely deeply and fast, not stressed, calm, but mind racing and it's taking me much longer to fall asleep. even when i'm asleep, i still feel half conscious.for example, i wear an orthodontic appliance whilst sleeping, and last night I took it out twice because i was dreaming that i was talking to somebody, and i can't speak without a lisp with this thing in my mouth lol.
i feel reaaaallyyy good other than this. i know i definitely needed the thyroid. the difference in energy is incredible. any help? thanks.

Zinc supplement causes fever/crash
I found out recently that one of the supplements I take at midday was causing me to get an extreme crash in energy for about 30 minutes after, facial flushing and overall feeling extremely hot, irritable and sleepy. I narrowed it down to zinc, which I take 30-40mg of (bisglycinate). I take 3mg copper bisglycinate aswell to keep ratios good.
Has anyone else had this issue?

RE: Androsterone + T3, T4
@bio3nergetic Hey, to learn from this, I could perhaps cycle shorter, or dose less. How much were you taking? How did you dose it (topically, orally, on your gums?) and how often?
I appreciate your response.

Androsterone + T3, T4
My androsterone and TyroMix (synthetic T3 and T4) arrived today, and I am really unsure how to dose this.
I'm thinking 4mg a day for androsterone, and two drops of the tyro mix (12mcg T4, 6mcg T3)
What I'm aiming to get out of these substances is anti-catabolism for a cut I'm about to start, and possibly some masculinisation of my body/face.
Has anyone here used either of these and have some advice? Dosing? Half life? Cycle?

RE: Chronic nocturia: Advice?
@yerrag I used to have high TSH, low t3 t4, now all in the average range.
The sore throat is just one symptom of dehydration, my eyes get extremely dry too and I desperately crave liquids as soon as I wake up. I am almost certain I don't breathe through my mouth at night, however I can try the tape and see.
@NotShanalotte Yesterday I went all in on the salt, a few grams at every feeding, I did not wake up at night to use the bathroom!! Which is great, though I have to try again today because I was sleeping in a different bed than I usually do. I still felt dehydrated on awakening and my urine was extremely dark in color this morning. I can also feel the water retention, slightly heavier today.

RE: Chronic nocturia: Advice?
@NotShanalotte I salt every meal I have, thoroughly. I drink 6g instant coffee every morning and occasionally 200mg in caffeine tabs, carbs are 300-500 ED, 50% fruit, 20% root veg, 20% honey 10% dairy sugars.
@yerrag Yes, felt like I got rid of all the liquids I had consumed on the day before the night, leaving me very dehydrated.

RE: Chronic nocturia: Advice?
@revenant Great, thankyou. I have pure taurine powder that I usually put in my coffee in the morning, I'll have that at night instead with some gelatine for the glycine and see how I do.

Chronic nocturia: Advice?
Hey, I've been experiencing nocturia for a few years now. I wake up around 1-5 times a night (average 2) to urinate. I was previously hypothyroid due to a low salt low carb diet, and cured that by following a lot of peats principles, and knowledge gained from the forum.
Fixing my thyroid didn't seem to have an effect on this issue though. I get extremely dehydrated through the night with dry eyes, sore throat, peeling skin occasionally and it all immediately goes away after drinking/eating in the morning. If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it.
Things I have tried to no avail:
Salt tablets before bed
White sugar/honey before bed
Ceasing liquid consumption up to 4 hours before bedI'm 16 and weigh 78kg (171lbs)
