I have heard that the rate of complications is actually higher than the industry would lead you to believe. Saw a twitter thread some time back from a guy who claims lasik made him go almost completely blind years after getting it. Also there is a supposedly a potential side effect of permanent eye pain likened to being constantly stabbed with knives. While serious complications are probably rare I wouldn't take that risk at any percentage. Just wear glasses most of the time and get contacts for when you want to look extra good. I have heard applying egg whites to the eyes can cure myopia slowly over time. I began doing this early last year but stopped just to be safe once all the bird flu hysteria started.

Progest-E and Hormonal Birth Control
Introducing a female friend to Peat's work. I think Progesterone would beneficial to her. She suffers from some of the symptoms that Peat attributes to progesterone deficiency on page 21 of Nutrition for Women. However, she is on hormonal birth control (estrogen and progestin). I am wondering if progest-e is still effective for women on hormonal birth control or if the positive effects would be cancelled out. Any insights are appreciated.

Bluetooth
Does it cause cancer? Does it mess up your thyroid? does it give you AIDS? (headphones/ear buds specifically).

RE: Bowel Movements: Sh*tmaxxing Strategies
@GreekDemiGod A couple hours before bed usually. I haven't tried other times of day though. Idk if it makes a difference.

Psyllium husks are goated. Once you experience the ghost wipe (tp remains clean) it's hard to go back. 2 tablespoons seems to be the sweet spot but it's best to start with one and work your way up. Yet to see a peaty argument against them other than the fact that it's soluble fiber. Psyllium husks + carrots/mushrooms + good exercise routine = 1-3 easy bowel movements a day.
