I have used it orally, leaving it to absorb (buccally) for 30 to 120 seconds. I did this every day 10 to 20 drops and thought the very modest mg dosing and ratios Georgi went with achieved some noticeable pro-metabolic effects (warming, good for mental clarity/cognitive capacity, etc). I did this every day for several three-month stints and then more occasionally over the last 6 years (has this product really been around that long, maybe since 2016 when I began using it intensively??? [if I recall correctly, although not sure].
Then Georgi changed the solvent and the taste changed dramatically for the worse. I dislike using it now because of the taste and smell. I think it probably still has subtle but noticeable positive effects for me when I use it orally (maybe a few days each month when diet and other supplements are not achieving my b-vitamin targets).
Others reported dramatic effects with transdermal applied to the chest/abdomen/etc. I tried this a number of times and never noticed any effect and always returned to taking energin orally. Note: I have been on thyroid (highly variable dosing) since 2015. You’ll read on RPF many wise commentators suggesting that b-vitamin supplementation is needed or helpful when attempting other pro-metabolic interventions aimed at increasing one’s basal metabolic rate. I think Energin is a good supplement for that. I wish Georgi would offer a version with the original solvent to get rid of the garlicy taste in the current formulation.
Does anyone know which ingredient in the current formulation explains the garlicy taste that’s so different from Energin’s previous formulation?
