@Chud It has no vitamins at all unlike orange juice. I think it is beneficial in small amounts, like one or maybe 2 cans or small bottles a day for most people. More if you work out and get enough nutrients from other sources. I wouldn't make it my major carb source.
@Mag1313 I heard something from Dr. Greger (vegan guy) about supplementing too much calcium at once potentially increasing arterial calcification or something. 1/4 tspn at a time doesn't sound like it would be a problem though. Just something to look into if you wanted to.
Idk much about milk alkali syndrome, but I think the dosages you gave seem quite safe to me.
I've been taking ketotifen – a drug with a very similar structure and pharmacology to cyproheptadine, for a few months now to manage my chronic urticaria. At a dosage of 1.5mg per day, I've noticed vivid dreams with high recall.
