Do blanks even exist? I find these claims to be dubious. I would not consider someone human if they do not have an inner voice. My inner voice is what I identify myself as. It seems utterly preposterous that there are "people" without an inner voice. What kind of dysgenic effects have caused this madness? I have started interrogating family, friends, and colleagues about this, so I can remove blanks from my life. A colleague confessed. I have to be careful, but I have canceled our weekly meeting and will do what I can not to cooperate with this "person". I will take further measures to remove blanks from my social life. This is much more grotesque than any fabelprose dystopian novel I have ever read. The rise of the blanks is a full solipsistic gut punch.

It's complete bullshit. In fact being relatively less verbal is a sign of great health. It's good not to have an 'inner monologue' constantly. Ray talks about this.

But this whole discourse is just a meaningless discussion because it's utterly unscientific and based on self-reporting. Totally uninteresting. Buzzfeed level stuff.

I do not have a constant inner monologue. Sure, I can "talk" to myself and generate sounds in my brain , but I don't spend the majority of my time having a conversation with myself. I can understand my abstract thoughts without needing to translate them into words and sentences. The only time I use my inner voice is when praying and in moments of deep thought or problem solving.

I'd love to hear your perspective, how would you describe what it's like to have an inner monologue? Do you have a voice that narrates what you're thinking?

some animals have more soul than most humans proving its not about words

i knew guy with no inner voice, didn't show emotional response either. In text he seemed mentally a bit slow but not irl because he was very tall large hairy and deep voice. He just like to be in the wilderness and was very good at wood carving
