The relationship between Candida infections and heavy metal toxicity

Try cilantro extract, it's my personal favorite. Never had any adverse effects from it. The one word of caution is it's a anticoagulant, so probably shouldn't combine it with aspirin or serotonin antagonists.
Not sure if he would have said the same thing about pectin
Ray didn't like pectin either. But you need to use whatever works. Don't get too caught up into something Ray said about a particular product. That's where a lot of people on the other forum messed up at. The only real thing to be mindful of is if the use of a certain substance moved you toward oxidation or back into reduction. The how-to's will lack and/or defy any preconceived blueprint.

Yeah wasn't peat about what's cheap and what we can easily get after all
I might try eating more marmalade and jam soon. I think when you are very toxic though you do need to bring in the 'heavy artillery' at least at first.
-
@questforhealth Yeah, he didn't really give out any official recommendations because it would look profoundly different for every individual based on uncontrollable things. Existing medical conditions, food allergies, economic status, geographical location, etc. they all play an important role in health maintenance that other lifestyles simply choose not to acknowledge.
Hypothetically, I'm sure if we were to devise a optimal "Ray Peat diet" it actually wouldn't look anything like what those orthorexics on RPF would do.
It would be something like living in the high elevation of South American mountains, coming down daily to buying the freshest most ripe tropical fruits at markets, and getting fresh never frozen animal liver, milking sheep on the mountain tops, gathering free range eggs, hunting fresh oysters on the seashore. Basically impossible shit, lol. But it certainly wouldn't be a diet consisting of only store bought milk and OJ.

This strikes me as the most likely, since apple pectin is good increasing bile.
"Fecal bile acid excretion (+168%) and the hepatic activity of cholesterol 7alpha-hydroxylase (+70%) were significantly higher in pectin-fed animals. "
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8683337/
And most heavy metals are reabsorbed via bile.
Also good to know that pectin will preferentially excrete lead instead of copper. Apples for the win, again!96.2% of the soluble fibers of carrots are pectin as well.
Do you know what an effective dose would be for heavy metal removal with pectin ?
Btw marmelade contains about 5g/kg.so clears bile and increases its synthesis to try to balance, ah marmalade not great then
apple pectin at ~5g split twice a day i think for an adult should do it, 1-3 week course for significant effect (15% -16% actual pectin content of the powder used here in children, in another paper by them it mentioned i think children aged 5 - 17 or something , so maybe 3x dose would cover that)
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/8900434_Reducing_the_137Cs-load_in_the_organism_of_Chernobyl_children_with_apple-pectinIn the other study the apple + citrus combo showing effects on lead & cadmium , in the pesticides part of the study was ~3g pectin total a day split 30 min before meals. for the metals they used high dose 6.9g actual pectin 3x a day and the cadmium went by 10 days, lead nearly halved, in saliva. https://www.romj.org/files/pdf/romj-2013-0306.pdf
yeah ray didnt like pectin because of feeding potentially harmful bacteria , and can also increase gut serotonin through less serotonin transporter (might take high amounts though) (there's already high gut serotonin in IBS, high in crohns too, but in UC its opposite theres low gut serotonin in ulcerative colitis https://academic.oup.com/ibdjournal/article/26/10/1607/5897197 Serotonin transporter is reduced in UC and crohns but with uc comes with lower serotonin https://www.gastrojournal.org/article/S0016-5085(04)00379-8/fulltext#secd69730819e510). in pigs feeding high amounts of pectin led to anti inflammatory state overall , but big changes in bacteria
i might use it for a round every once in a while to get rid of a buildup in toxic metals , rather than continual use (dont want to deplete minerals once metals are taken care of anyway), for the modified form theres some research showing inhibitory effect on mitochondria from a part of it which might be responsible for anti cancer effect due to increased ROS. if that would be relevant for healthy cells or found in high enough amounts idk.
ty for bringing this into awareness looks useful
*(they say this shit is water soluble but it floats on water, u can sort of see a gel forming around the clumps though which is characteristic of the high-methoxyl type -

Pectin is gentle and natural. These days I like nature and sun and picking my own herbs outside more than buying shit off the internet.]
That is genius. Maybe if I ever started farming I could spray this stuff on the crops and people would be getting medication along with their food....
But Emeramide works
-
tbh the only reason I don't buy emeramide is because I don't have the mental energy to go through buying it. I did want to try it at first
and cost. isn't it a bit expensive

Mental energy as in making a wire transfer to someone ?
I don't get it, what does your daily life look like ? -

You realize buying Emeramide takes no more energy than replying on this forum and could save your life, right ?
-
where will I get the money
could ask my parents
I can barely think straight but I know its heavy metals since the pectin helped a bit
I have heard some horror stories about OSR, if pectin made me delirious from heavy metals dumping and gave me bone pain wtf will happen with OSR... I might stick to pectin.

OSR doesn't cause redistribution, so no, nothing bad will happen.
- read on OSR on every medium possible
- contact Fandachem so they can give you the contact of your region reseller.
- borrow money from your parents
You can form sentences to reply back to me so you can do all that, you are just making excuses and being lazy.

Saving energy is important.
I emailed them this morning. If pectin helped so much I imagine emeramide can give me my life back. Big deal really. I also get more opportunities coming up to make money if I eat the right stuff and take the right supplements. Funny world.
I've always lacked energy and I know people with mercury poisoning say the same thing about lacking any mental energy so it's not laziness, how can someone be lazy, it's just a lack of energy... When it was at its worse I was walking into doors and forgetting how to open them and weird stuff.

I have probably had the worst case of mercury poisoning of this whole forum and powered through it with strength of mind.
You are in charge if your future, heavy metals are not.

just easy to get stuck in learned helplessness... always feel like that in the evenings until i sleep

Can you share a bit more about your story? I would really like to know how your symptoms looked and how you got rid of it and the whole process...

How I got rid of it : one gram OSR per day for a few months.
