I currently spend around $65 a week on fruit, juice/cider, coconut water, coconut milk, pastured eggs and goat cheese. Other miscellaneous items like honey, salt, cinnamon, vanilla bean powder, coconut aminos, I buy every few months and are factored into my weekly budget.

@Jennifer Nice, I might need to budget better considering me and you consune a similar ammount of food (based on your caloric intake youve mentioned in other posts) but i pay over twice as much haha

@Serotoninskeptic, do the majority of your carbs come from raw honey and dates? The majority of mine currently come from cheap sources—bananas, apple cider and grape juice. My grocery bill is likely to increase this winter because I tend to crave more raw milk and cheese when it’s cold out.

@Cezar4911 400g of white sugar? You might run into deficiencies.

@Jennifer Yes honey and dates make up the majority of my carbs. I forget if i told you before but liquid-rich foods dont work well for me. So i feel much better with dates and honey vs lots of juice or fruit. The honey does get quite expensive though.

@GreekDemiGod i used to down 600-700gr of white rice a day on my bulk but it slowed me down considerably(mentally and phisically),sugar is much more convenient when you eat for mass, taking into account my bmr is around 5000 cals(6'4 215 pounds rn)
I do high dose thiamine n magnesium bisglycinate on top of varying my food sometimes(eating liver n oyster plus some boiled legumes)
Am i doing it right?B1 vitamin is optimal when doing high sugar

@Serotoninskeptic, oh, okay. So even raw milk is problematic for you? I thought you were thriving on it. Raw honey is definitely expensive as a major source of carbs. I was spending $28 daily just on honey when I was having a kilo of it a day.

@Jennifer Milk i still drink yes. Around a pint. When i was thriving on a dairy-based diet it was mostly cheese/ice cream though.

@Serotoninskeptic Last time i got my bloodwork done my kidney enzymes were quite elevated. This was abnormal for me and it was the main thing that stood out on the labs. I think this is why I have trouble tolerating liquids.

Yeah, I’ll never do that again. To this day, I can’t have more than a few spoonfuls without breaking out in hives and running to the toilet. I consumed so much of it because it was one of the only carb sources I tolerated at the time. I should have gone with white sugar in herbal tea or decaf coffee instead.
