When did you realize SolBrah was a grifting loser who makes stuff up to sell expensive shirts?
-
Ignoring overpriced cookbooks and the like, I think his influence is positive overall, he largely leans Peaty
-
@john Grifting and selling aren't the same thing, my friend John. SolBrah's sin is the fracturing of his identity to create an impersonal egregore. But by and large, he's a good individual.
-
When Sol Brah told me to google my own recipes I overcame my learned helplessness.
-
When his account was sold
-
He's done more to spread truth than nearly anyone in that sphear. If you actually bought any of his stuff idk what to tell you... it was obvious what he was doing ever since that cookbook & good for him lmao
-
@Moonstruck please talk more about this.
-
I had a dream recently that I ran into his PR teams and they spilled all the secrets. They even showed me a clip of him spitting out a chewed up raw steak.
But I had actually noticed recently in that cooking video he posted that he didn’t actually show a clip of him swallowing the bites of food he “ate” which tells you everything you need to know.
He also looks like a hapa tard. Could also be aussie uyghur diaspora. I’ve never liked him because of the griftiness.

-
@Moonstruck He still runs it.
I agree with @pilky that he probably has a positive influence. There is so much propaganda for enervating food and products, when someone promotes natural, life affirming things like him and has broad success I'm glad to see it.

Sol brah is chinese?
-
Exactly you can buy identical cotton shorts on Amazon for 15 bucks
-
He messaged my girlfriend asking her all of these weird nutrition questions (she's not in that world.) Then he sent her like 30 messages begging her to record a video of her eating raw ground beef from whole foods and offered her 2,000$ to do so. She thought it was pornographic so she didn't do it. I've heard from other people that he has this sort of fetish but I don't want to linger on the past.
-
@AryanRaypist I want to believe this
-
@Sugar SolBrah is a LARPer and honestly sometimes Larping as a "nature" guy can have great results and make you feel healthier. He has no great insights, other than a natural lifestyle making one feel healthier than eating PUFA and SeedOil
-
@AryanRaypEat it's true
-
@AryanRaypEat His physiognomy fits this profile of him, weird guy for sure.
-
@Sugar was anyone else completely unsurprised when this scam artist revealed he was a chink?
-
@AryanRaypEat said in When did you realize SolBrah was a grifting loser who makes stuff up to sell expensive shirts?:
@AryanRaypEat it's true
Do you have any evidence/pictures you can show? I do believe you but it would be funny if some screenshots happened to make their way on twitter.
-
He looks so grim and sad
-
I have heard much bad about him from those who know/knew him, but I think Solbrah is for sure net positive as he manages to get some of the ideas from our sphere out to the general public. I second the comment that he looks grim. He clearly suffers from outbreed depression.
"In biology, outbreeding depression happens when crosses between two genetically distant groups or populations result in a reduction of fitness. The concept is in contrast to inbreeding depression, although the two effects can occur simultaneously. Outbreeding depression is a risk that sometimes limits the potential for genetic rescue or augmentations. It is considered postzygotic response because outbreeding depression is noted usually in the performance of the progeny.
Outbreeding depression manifests in two ways:
Generating intermediate genotypes that are less fit than either parental form. For example, selection in one population might favor a large body size, whereas in another population small body size might be more advantageous, while individuals with intermediate body sizes are comparatively disadvantaged in both populations. As another example, in the Tatra Mountains, the introduction of ibex from the Middle East resulted in hybrids which produced calves at the coldest time of the year.
Breakdown of biochemical or physiological compatibility. Within isolated breeding populations, alleles are selected in the context of the local genetic background. Because the same alleles may have rather different effects in different genetic backgrounds, this can result in different locally coadapted gene complexes. Outcrossing between individuals with differently adapted gene complexes can result in disruption of this selective advantage, resulting in a loss of fitness."
