Trying to see the difference made by dosage on sleep and gym performance. Do any of you have experience megadosing/taking large doses, and if so was there a plateau in benefits?

@Nabokov I have taken >15g of baking soda before going to the gym and noticed a better pump but also a very slight stomach discomfort. The discomfort could be mitigated by dissolving the baking soda and slowly drinking it over a couple of minutes. I scooped the baking soda straight into my mouth and still had barely any discomfort so ingesting that amount normally should be fine 🙂

@Nabokov the main problem with large doses is stomach upset. In particular, it can give you brutal diarrhea. A teaspoon after a meal is a pretty high dose but you can repeat this for each meal. I like a half teaspoon after a meal personally.

@Nabokov I’ve done upwards of a tablespoon before bed before, but I’m not sure that’s the best to do consistently. A little more than half a teaspoon seems to be best for me

@Chud mixing some vinegar blunts the sharp taste

Its alkali and neutralises stomach acid so make sure you have it with something acidic like coffee or tea , and only a few pinches , any more and it impacts digestions & give many gas.
Sitting in a bath tub of hot water with a cup of baking soda is my favorite way to absorb it , really makes you relaxed & destress & sleepy. Also rly exfoliate skin rly well.
