Does anyone know if it is ok to take an anti viral when also taking a phage? Seems one should not, coz a phage (bacteriophage ) is essentially a virus and in doing so, one might be sabotaging its purpose. Would appreciate any answer s, or even speculation, thanks.

What's an antiviral that doesn't increase or otherwise attenuate the metabolic rate. Probably bullshit.

Can you name them and explain why you're asking.

@ThinPicking yeah i think i understand some of what you’re saying. Some supps have anti viral properties (eg cypro p4 theanine..) and then there are standalone rx antiviral s like acyclovir valacyclovir etc. I’m asking about both than ks

@16charactersitis Vitamin D is antiviral, so it vitamin C. Why not start there?

@jamezb46 OK.. would they re be any point in ramping up d or c intake when takin a bacteriophage, or would they be at cross purposes?

@16charactersitis I don't see any scenario in which getting more vitamin D and vitamin C (the latter from whole food sources, and the former ideally from light) would be a bad thing. I'm not sure why you're taking a bacteriophage or what your context is but I was just suggesting not to overlook the basics. Glycine is also anti-viral btw.

There are more advanced immune-boosting substances like adamantane, but the basics should be met first.
