It's the "never" that stands out especially for someone that solves problems with hormones so often.

That's why I said cop out, because I don't think it's solving anything really.

You don't honor someones memory by remembering them incorrectly.

      Yes, you don't.

Ha-Ha. You got me. The goblin world order is just me projecting my goblin brain onto reality! Partly true.

is it a cop out to recommend progesterone?

            how about thyroid?

More fundmanetal. Further upstream. So no, I don't think so.

But I also haven't taken them, possibly yet. I just understand why he might have considered them holistically therapeutic.

lol not you corngold. Not noticeably anyway. But it's a pathology. I have been and probably will be again, goblin afflicted.

                  downstream

It's entirely possible our views are inverted.

What if your condition has a reference range, and what if indication is all around and behind you.

that reflects his mindset as the poster suggested

The poster asked a question. He's on a journey or something.

t4 converts to t3. That would be downstream no?

@Dedeluded said in Peat did not believe in the androgenic man?:

Thyroid is farther downstream than testosterone in the sense that it's the final active form

                      I'm a little confused. But that's ok.

Apparently he doesn't know what a "man" is.

Being cryptic doesn't help anyone in any way.

Welcome to earth. If you know the way we're all ears.

@Dedeluded said in Peat did not believe in the androgenic man?:

                            Don't be confused

                            t3 is downstream of t4

Pregnenolone is not downstream bc it's the first

Testosterone continues converting but is downstream of pregnenolone.

Ok but you asked if thyroid and preg are cop outs in comparison to testosterone. I described them further upstream and more fundamental. You're free to differ.

On earth you work with actual information to reach rational conclusions. We should all aspire to get there

I'll stick with my original answer to OPs question. But thank you for your thoughts on testosterone recommendations and what constitutes manly things.

I would make the case for a sense of humour. Definite sarcasm as you didn't ask.

I'm not talking about synthesis. Only that if you're not cooking ATP then the golden goose isn't much use. There is crosstalk between those systems, but still. If you're metabolically well, eating plenty of sat lipids and the other goods, testosterone ought to be where it needs to be.
