Raypeat = infertility psyop?

Everything's a "psyop" with Garrett. Functional paranoid schizo this guy.
-
I knew this was a Garrett Smith video before clicking the link. You could have a look at the “other forum” and see how things went with Smith’s work over there… (it wasn’t pretty). But ask yourself this: if you have nutrition all figured out, but you act the was Smith does, do you want that “health?”

glucose
Dr Stephen's only. There's obviously a reason nature doesn't do this alone. But I don't think fertility is the angle, not directly anyway.

@evan-hinkle wdym by "other forum" lowtoxinforum?....
Plus wdym act like he does, does he act in a odd manner i didnt pick up on? -
@lobotomize-me yeah, before the name change it was called the Ray Peat Forum
-
@alfredoolivas phew dr garret got me real nervous for a minute there. but do you know anything about the claim that ray peat practitioner have higher rates of unemployment(this really confused me)
-
@lobotomize-me this is an example of the “behavior” that I was referencing. First, I’m not sure what a Ray Peat practitioner is exactly, but let’s say it’s a Georgi, (gainfully employed IT personnel with a successful side hustle) or Danny, (teleconferencing with clients from Mexico and homesteading). I think Smith in his ignorance, (and I don’t mean to demean him when I say this, I think he just doesn’t get it) is essentially trying to suggest that choosing your own path is somehow less-than some other way of being/subsisting.
Peat’s work can only lead to you essentially dropping out of “polite” society. It’s kind of an end point goal, lol.
-
@lobotomize-me I don’t understand your question but your testicles litterlly store specifically fructose because it’s so beneficial for ferrtility. One astern European countries, fructose is used as an OTC supplement for fertility.

I'm still in the process of watching this video, but he starts by talking about Peat and Dr. Stephen's sugar affinity, showing studies on how fructose and added sugars harm fertility (minutes 0–12). Does this evidence hold any merit in proving that Dr. Stephen's glucose loading protocol is harmful?Further opinions on this video are welcome
Some might be good, Eating to much added sugars does harm fertility
It could be use as a infertility psyop considering carrots and liver being pushed

This guy is the most unhealthy looking person I've ever seen. Opinion discarded. Also he thinks vitamin A is a toxin. lol.

click the video link from OP, how is he the most unhealthy person you have ever seen?
-
he says pineapple and lemon juice are bad for fertility
-
First point he made was citrus and juice:
OJ is questionable. I don't like it so I rarely buy or drink it. Real oranges are great, regardless of agricultural factors. It's not the sugar in OJ, it's the flavor packets (perfume industry chemicals), citric acid, preservatives, etc that are the problem.
He claims people are talking about eating whole lemons. I've never heard that in the peat-sphere, and marmalade is just the cleaned peels anyways, not the seeds. So it that's a second straw-man argument.
He talked about estrogen from cow's milk. But if the gut is working, that estrogen (which is low in quantity) shouldn't be absorbed. These topics are on the old RPF forum - higher fat milk has more estrogen, so then it might be a problem, just as fat/weight gain will happen from high fat diets. But he didn't go into that.
I checked some AIs: liver and gut, (when healthy) process these estrogens, so they shouldn't be a major risk (especially compared to pufas).
3rd straw-man.Idk, I can't listen to this whole talk. It's a psyop in itself. Why is it all concerned with fertility? He also has no superior recommendations, and he's mostly cherry-picking and making strawmen. I'd rather hear a constructive counter-argument or advocating or shilling for keto or carnivore. He does push DHT as safe.
I'm skeptical about progesterone and other supplemental hormones, so I'll agree with him somewhat on that - that may be altering fertility and energy for good or bad possibly long-term, and I think the science is too complex for average people to be concerned with.
I mean, he's saying eating more seafood is associated with higher mercury intake. Yeah. That's why you don't eat tuna every day - there are small fish that don't accumulate heavy metals. Bigger fish contain more.
Some "Peaters" harp on cultish ideas for sure, but he's just playing counter-narrative. He claims all Peaters are young. Many are not! Many are over 40 or 30 at least, and trying to fix genuine health problems.
He's in favor of "Vit A bad."
Do an eye-brow check on this guy... no offense to him, but he appears hypothyroid and even a bit pale and tired, like cancer patients, which is not a good look. Still, he's right to criticize cultish and unthinking "Peating TM."

Additionally, I'm surprised to see the dude knocking seafood... seafood and sugars are commonly pushed as high libido foods. Oysters and certain fruits are aphrodisiacs.

Afaik, I've rarely seen pineapple pushed in the Peatsphere because of serotonin. I eat it but not daily. Lemon juice also - I don't see anyone pushing this except for cooking or in drinks.
If the guy wanted to take the low hanging fruit he should have gone after Coca Cola and "pufa bad," wherein he could recite FDA figures about heart-healthy omega-6s and "sugar causes diabetes," etc. Surprising he didn't do this.
-
He objectively looks extremely unhealthy. Almost everyone in the Peat-sphere looks WAY healthier in comparison.
-
@Corngold I eat 2 large pineapples a week. I think they are really good for digestion, especially protein digestion.
-
I usually eat the canned stuff. It is one of my favorites, bromelain is supposed to be good; I always feel good after eating it and drinking the juice.
-
@Corngold canned probably has bromelian deactivated because of the cooking process of canning
