Anybody noticing YouTube's algorithm with the "sugar fast" lately?

Maybe it's just me, but I'm starting to notice a whole lot of these videos talking about sugar fasting from these accounts that are like so small they barely have any viewership at all lol. It's all these people that are swiftly trying to latch on to this new trend and get mega followers from it. They hacking the algorithm basically. Idk kinda funny I thought. People wanna know where grifters pop up from it's shit like this.
Here's an example of what I'm talking about. This lady, she has less than a 1,000 subs but her channel's videos are all over my recommended. All she doing is putting "sugar fast" or "sugar diet" in her titles and if you're like me and watch a bunch of Danny or old Peat interviews or whatever this shit will start popping up lol. https://www.youtube.com/@debbiewagner7087/videos
Unrelated: As a side note, X seems to have locked me out of my Twitter. So if you're use to seeing me there that's what's happened. They asking me for a verification code I can't get because when I originally signed up I used a anti-spam temp email. Unless their support staff responds to my requests to change the email I may just have to make a new account.

Yes ever since I watched a couple videos I get a ton of those recommended. All of them have less than 10000 views usually. Snake diet guy is really into it now. I think he got famous due to keto lol.

What's unreal but more welcome than the continual and concerted effort to villify sugar is YouTube now opening the gates to the previously censored condemnation of Zionists and AIPAC and literally taking a pro-Palestinian and anti-Zionist face, but now Jewish intellectuals, comedians, reporters are firing volleys at Netanyahu and Zionists with the ongoing Gaza situation. Makes me wonder what changed, as I'm sure many Jews have long been anti-Zionists but have been silenced before but now their presence is ubiquitous and it seems there's a stampede going on. It's a welcome thing as Jews can speak more freely as they can criticize Zionism and Israel without the ADL et al giving a reflexive comeback branding them as hate-filled and racist and anti-Semite. Again, all this is welcome to me.
Hard to fathom, but surely this change isn't because Trump is pro-Israel and the establishment, out of a need to be anti-Trump, has to be different and so the deep state and the liberal establishment has flipped the switch and now Israel is for sale.
With the renewed "sugar fast" push OP mentions, at least there is no change in framing sugar as evil.
But there is more to the seeming about face of YouTube to protecting Zionists.

@Mulloch94 - I am wondering how much of this is just AI running amuck. During covid, there were people who started the fraud. Here it seems that others are just jumping on a bandwagon that the algorithm may have created. There is clearly an incentive for people to catch a ride on the monetary wave at YouTube.
Be careful, there is a lot more gaslighting in our future.

@Kilgore The snake guy be like "Hey FATTY! You had your sugar this morning?"
Yeah he got famous doing keto style fasts, just drinking "snake juice." Which was basically water and salt more or less.
I'm waiting to hear back from X's staff, but being 4 days into it I seriously doubt they're gonna reply. Probably should just cut my losses and make a new account.

@DavidPS I have wondered that as well. If you look into most of these people's channels, their posting is relatively new. Like, most haven't been posting for longer than a couple months.

yes for sure. i really hope this uptick in "sugar good" content just leads people to peats work and this doesnt turn into a keto cult thing...

It's my bad I didn't watch your YouTube links and I apologize. I thought the term sugar fasting referred to fasting from sugar, and didn't watch the videos thinking it still is about sugar bad.
So yes, it's good there are such videos popping up. I hope they snowball and would lead to the eventual widescale debunking of the sugar is bad lie, which is so entrenched.
Thanks for sharing!
