    I recently had bloodwork done after going to the ER forwhat felt like chest pains.

    Notable findings were sky high AST, high ALT (I think from a recent very intense workout), other liver function was normal.

    RBC, hemoglobin, hematocrit were all either low or on the lower end.

    I eat red meat daily, but I also eat it with 300-650 mg calcium from calcium carbonate or cheese. I probably get in around 1200-1500 mg calcium in per day.

        @jamezb46 @jamezb46 alt ast yeh seems like excess exercise
        the hematocrit https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11081466/
        same thing for RBC hemoglobin. regular exercise increases plasma volume a bit so the rbc/hematocrit/hemoglobin can hover around the low end because its diluted. if they're all off the low end / not exercising different story, (e.g blood loss, low iron or low t3 as t3 is used for red blood cell production, excess oxidative stress).
        high neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio high glucose low magnesium lowish potassium

        what was your salt intake?

          @cs3000

          Haven't been doing that much exercise lately. TSH was 1.335, so I guess t3 could be low. Planning on doing more blood work soon.

          I was under tremendous stress at the time the blood was taken.

          Salt intake is probably on higher end, ad lib. with meals.

                @jamezb46

                I would run the test for total and free. If your level are rock bottom your H&H can be addressed by increasing testosterone

                  @GRay Increasing testosterone is anything but straightforward

                    @jamezb46 do you take gelatin (oxtail, wings, shanks, jello, Great Lakes gelatin,..) along with the meat to help balance out the aminos?
