But yeah, the idea that he just kind of found Ray, delved into his work, and then grifted up is accurate. At the same time, is he rich? Maybe there's a spiritual or non-monetary grift taking place in this and any discipline with prestige and legacy. -

Well, how can we be sure? I don't think Peat "grifted" and it doesn't seem that he ever had huge commercial or professional prestige / payoff. How can his ideas be reduced to his own work when he cites dozens and hundreds of authors, researchers, etc. Almost nothing he wrote was trying to push dogmatism or any "top-down" rule-making.

Pretty much, he sold a book pretending to recover from balding thank to his ray peat diet without showing any evidence that he ever was bald.
