      I know Haidut did but that was a long time ago from what I could find. Anything anyone knows about taking the supplement (capsules) would be helpful thanks

        @16characterstwas I actually recall someone, maybe it was ray, saying something negative about ATP. I read it a couple days ago somewhere. I know how that sounds, but just saying. I remember it because of how it sounds to say ATP is le bad.

          @sunsunsun it was about nmn being inflammatory in some way . i dont think pea ever talked about atp as it was and still is extremely rare niche and addresses the symptoms not the root

            Yes, extracellular ATP acts as a pretty potent danger signal that triggers inflammatory responses when it enters the extracellular space. It'll cling to purinergic receptors on immune cells, like macrophages, T cells, and mast cells etc, activating pathways like NF-κB and the inflammasome. I definitely would not use ATP directly. The IV NAD+ fad comprises of the same concept.

                There are studies showing that ATP powder taken orally is ergogenic. You can find it sold as peakATP.

                    @lobotomize Right.

                    At best, orally you get some purinergic signaling, a touch vasodilation maybe, which is what that study is demonstrating, not direct ATP cellular restoration. At worst, it's somewhat a waste of money. I.V. ATP however is really something to refrain from altogether.
