I feel as tho I feel exactly the same no matter what I eat. Peating is hard because it gives rought guidlines on ratios and macros and then Peat suggests to figure it out for yourself, what feels right I suppose. No matter what I eat, if I Peat or not, I feel exactly the same. Is this real or are all of you playing, you feel so good so energetic, euophoruic come on?

I think the term “euphoric” is often misunderstood and used as a synonym for mania, but it has been said countless times within peating context that “a high-energy state is a relaxed state.”

So I interpret “euphoria” as the lifting of the resistances that interfere with your metabolism, and now your thoughts and actions can be expressed freely, and as a result, you’re also able to perceive(and be perceived by) the world in your own way.

        As Peat said:

[The] excitedly expectant state of consciousness of a child on Christmas morning is a model of the way the mind should function throughout life

Any food that brings you closer to that feeling is euphoric, so it's real in that context.

Definitely yes, but it's not always consistent. For instance, I have been euphoric before consuming only skimmed milk with cocoa powder and sugar, but it was in the context of being unemployed and sitting around all day playing video games. When it came to doing this diet (mainly skim choco milk) with a job, it was the opposite of euphoria, it was misery lol.

@Njegos, yes, for me, a diet centered on certain foods (mainly low fiber, fruit sugar and animal protein) results in euphoria, but I would inevitably crash, prior to calming my nervous system and supporting my thyroid by being in nature regularly. I had a severe case of dysautonomia, which was really just excess adrenaline compensating for an under-active thyroid, which was caused by a series of traumas, beginning in early childhood, suppressing its function. Now that my thyroid is working well, I feel euphoric most days.

@Njegos did at first because I started making drastic changes and eliminating pufa. now, not so much, but I can tell you I feel euphoric when eating a lot of yogurt, lifting, etc. it's not as intense but its more measurable now. gelatin is always sleep inducing and calming though it can upset stomach...sugar always causes a little rush but I don't "crash." etc. shortly before finding Peat I was awakened by eggs, beef/steak, liver, and seafood... so essentially a big part of Peat was a big eye-opener for feeling good.
