@Isaac Starch causes fermentation in the gut and endotoxin. It would be good to avoid it, but many in this sphere choose to consume them still. It's probably because ripe fruits are hard to find and expensive.

I eat starches occasionally too. One of the better ones is Nixtamalized corn. The lime (not the fruit) treatment this corn undergoes (where they turn into what they call hominy) provides it with more niacin and calcium, and makes it more digestible. This makes it one of the more preferable starches. Emphasis on the word 'more'.

The best nixtamalized flour on the market (it is often labeled as such and/or the ingredients contain 'lime') is Naturelo imo. You can also try canned hominy, or sometimes mexican shops sell tortillas made with it.

Unprocessed corn, especially on the cob or something, is definitely not a great source of carbs. I find it very hard to digest unprocessed. and the regular (un-nixtamalized) corn flour is probably better than something containing gluten.

@CO3 I sometimes get the Blue one from Naturelo, but my tortillas don't come out as good as with normal yellow corn flour!! the taste is interesting though, probably i'm doing something wrong ahah do you use any coconut oil or butter?

Since im forgetting details i'll pose this next passage as questions.

Are there glyphosate concerns with non-organic American corn products?

And didn't Mexico recently outlaw GMO Roundup-ready corn? Are their products now safe to buy?

Here's an article that alerted me to Mexican government legislation. I'll have to reread it but here it is, dated 7/19/201: https://thecounter.org/mexico-phaseout-glyphosate-genetically-engineered-corn-united-states/

Normally i try to be more dilligent with straight answers, but since the topic has been brought up maybe someone here knows. Otherwise it may have been discussed in Ray interviews or even in the other forum...

Corn is very good. I prefer nixtamalized corn by a long shot, as porridge or tortillas. It is one of my main starches, besides rice.

But otherwise i agree, nixtamalized is the way to go. The ingredients list should state slaked lyme, aka calcium hydroxide. Apparently the low PH preps the starch well for human consumption.

There are other starch categories that benefit from low PH prep too btw.

Eating grains is literal madness, why would you eat a seed which doesn’t want to be eaten, no wonder everyone is so sick when we eat wheat that causes hardening of the arteries and pasteurised milk with the cereal... russian cat experiments show raw milk makes them healthy but pasteurised milk makes them sick in a few generations. absolutely degenerated food degenerating humanity for profits

even my dad and uncles all told me milk makes pigs sick when you feed them it and i know humans are similar enough to pigs with one stomach

I don’t think my parents would have been pasteurising milk for pigs. I will ask

                                  Madness I tell you, madness!

Pasteurized milk seems fine to me. Tell it to Fred Kummerow who lived a fantastic active life to age 105 drinking 3 glasses of pasteurized whole milk every day.

The subject of the thread is corn, but you changed it to milk. So back to corn.

People who live to 100 or 110 or 120 eat a lot of starch. That's a fact.

                                  Oatmeal
                                  Potatoes
                                  Rice
                                  Grits (non nixtamalized corn)

                                  Madness!!

Maybe it’s the mixing of the food groups that causes more problems...

Ok but in a basic sense aren’t carbs really just pig food, whales and dolphins are spiritually advanced and eat whole fish, why don’t we just eat more animals nose to tail to become more advanced beings

as I grow older I am attracted less and less to meat, and more and more to well cooked starch, a little dairy and animal protein.

Carbs and well cooked vegetables are amazing. Fruit is amazing. Animal flesh is okay but not that much is more than enough.

Supermarket stuff does taste like pig food, grown properly and naturally even carbs are nice for me. Euphoric
