i got publically humiliated for having a high metabolism today

@Ray-Van-Winkle it's the same with children. We adults don't seem to like children happily running around without a coat, jumper "you'll catch your death".

longhoused by low metabolism gynocracy

That’s some real alpha shit

@Ray-Van-Winkle said in i got publically humiliated for having a high metabolism today:
i went outside for long walk in short sleeves adidas pants and sandals
apparently it was 5 F out and colder because wind which some old women my mom inform me about. they started to mock my whole outfit and call me idiot
i did notice the wind which was a little chilly until i got into the stride of my walk
it isn't easy having an extremely fast metabolism and high body temperature
That's really cortisol-headed behavior. A healthy animal never wants to be cold, and follows normal instincts. The whole situation was the exact opposite of how you interpreted it

@CO3 i touched breasts after walk and my hand was still warmer

I once went on a 1-year membership with a spa because it has a steam bath and a cold water dipping pool that goes down to 12 C. Hot cold therapy was recommended to me where I would spend 15 minutes in the steam room followed by 1 minute of cold water immersion. I would do this about 6 reps of this. I did this for a year 3x a week.
I never saw anyone dip into the cold pool. Most people can't take the cold.
I didn't know if they're low metabolic, until one time when I had bronchitis for a while. At that time, I went and swam in my koi pond to clear up some gunk, mostly mangos and leaves plugging up the bottom drain. I ended up shivering so much and took my temperature. It had plummeted to 36, or even lower. Then I realize the hypoxemia from my bronchitis is taking a toll on me big time. I swam back up and immediately wrapped myself in a blanket and drank hot water to bring up my temperature. It took me a while to be able to get back to swimming again. This. All because of a deficiency in oxygen intake.
I don't know why, but the hot and cold therapy made me lose a lot of weight. I went from a healthy BMI of 145 lbs. to a low BMI of 125 lbs. I am five foot seven. I expected a detox, but I lost a lot of weight.
So anyway. Yes, no doubt people who can't take easily to cold weather lack the metabolism to keep themselves warm.

@yerrag woah, very interesting
-
@yerrag In the 1800s there are many reports of men sweating profusely after entering an ice bath. The average metabolic health must have been so much higher. I think cold plunges are too big of a stress for most people now.
We must return!

You should go back out there without a shirt to show your power level.

@Ray-Van-Winkle just like machines of yore, they were built tough. They weren't digital. 100% analog.
