sorry you didn't get your shirt. But it's only money that you can maybe afford to lose. He may just have run into hard times as those days were the dark covid days. Many business closed down as nobody had planned for being shut down for 2 years. You could cut him some slack and hope he gets back on his footing. I believe he said he will pay back all the money he's received when he recovers. I won't count him out. When he succeeds, it will be satisfying to know he had help from those who were patient with him.

Speaking of clothes, I used to buy pants from Gramicci at Eastern Mountain Sports. I loved those pants. They were made from very tough canvas thst were densely knitted. They would last 10 years before they showed signs of wear. And they were very comfy to wear with the gusseted crotch design. I would use them to go hiking and mountaineering. I miss those pants. They don't make them like they used to these days.

Like the original Tevas, they're so tough it takes ten years to replace them even with regular use.

I'd pay a lot for great products, knowing it is like buying a car that lasts long.

James, does it make sense to make such products, I wonder? Just a special niche. Doesn't have to be at a volume with crazy economies of scale.

Of course, wearing a pair that long means you're maintaining your build and weight. The question to ask is if the peeps here can manage that.Otherwise, it makes no sense.

This must be must be why Gramicci just makes these kinds of pants these days. I hated them. I don't wear them as they're like outdoor pajamas, but I can wear them thru thick and thin- thick when I've been sick and become bloated, and thin when I recover. They're like suspenders, in a way.
