Unexplainable and Reoccurring Nuisance

@Sugarnotsnow definitely not. Never took T. All I took was low dose DHT and aromasin. Neither of those are suppressive and never had any suppression, quite the opppsite.

@healthyfungus said in Unexplainable and Reoccurring Nuisance:
The symptoms of it are;
Knots/achiness
Puffier face
Softer boners
Less energy
Headaches/nausea
Frequent and urgent urination/weak bladder
Weaker voiceI should mention, most of the time my body feels good, face is lean and dry, boners are hard, I’m high energy, I do still pee often but also drink a good amount, and voice is usually strong and projected. Just here and there I get this mild cold symptoms.
-
@healthyfungus my thoughts initially were I just keep getting sick, but then I thought how can I keep getting sick, my immune system seems good and have no symptoms of lowered immune. Might just be that I’m prone to knots, as I sweat a lot and am pretty physical so whenever I sweat a cold wind there gives me knots/inflammation/slight headache and that disrupts blood flow/energy direction as it’s directed to fixing the knot hence the symptoms. I’m not settled on that tho, open to other possibilities.

@healthyfungus infection? staff or strep?
Unfortunately I've tried loads of antibiotics and protocols, too, but if the infection goes to the lymph or bone it can be harder to get out -- it flares up during allergy season or junk food binge for me. I'm finally getting rid of it using a machine that can be hard to get/costs a lot of money.
Otherwise, the only solution I've heard that I think works is, essential oil sublingually, which is scary for the burns so I haven't tried it yet -- so far I think this machine is working.
Find a naturopath and ask them to refer you toward an electronic frequency practitioner.
-
@LetTheRedeemed what are your symptoms, and how do you think you got the infection? Any side effects from the machine? I’ve considered it might be an infection but doesn’t really fit the case.
-
@healthyfungus could it be some std?
-
@healthyfungus don't think that's the case. And based on the symptoms you mentioned earlier I doubt you have high DHT and T
-
@risingfire based on feeling ill for couple days every few weeks?
-
@healthyfungus there’s def something going on there, not low t/dht otherwise I’d constantly feel like that.
-
@healthyfungus I mixed up two different statements. My mistake. There is definitely something else going on. How's your gut health?
-
@risingfire no symptom of any gut problems. Any ways to gauge gut health?
-
@healthyfungus well formed bowel movements, no bloating, easy digestion and standard transit time(not too fast or too slow).
-
@risingfire checks out for the most part.
Don’t think it’s gut or any organ health, hormones, thyroid, or immune.
Everything is well, one thing I do have is frequent urination. Might be a hint to something underlying. Weak bladder, sometimes it’s urgent but it’s not even much pee.
-
@healthyfungus blood sugar?
-
@risingfire I do go 10-12 hours fasting some days when I work. I’ll eat at 9am then at 7ish pm a big meal. Usually I do 3 meals 9am 3pm 8-9pm.

stress hormones compromising prog/preg production.
to finally answer your old question, It may in fact not be an infection.
I have white tongue, when I eat bad food several days in a row, I get digestive issues/brain fog.
No side effects from the machine (it does dehydrate, so part of the protocol is drinking a lot). -
@LetTheRedeemed I’m familiar with the Ray Peat theology, but I don’t have any symptoms of high stress hormones, and this thing comes up when I’m not fasting or haven’t recently.
Your symptoms sound pretty normal symptoms everyone has; white tongue from not brushing it and bad digestion from bad food, neither of those would indicate an infection.
-
@healthyfungus actually, I didn't say I didn't brush my tongue. And, I get an extreme reaction from potatoes or bread that others don't get...
maybe you have a bacterial overgrowth you're overlooking because you think that's normal? I'll reopen the infection cold case files...
FYI the symptoms you gave are symptoms of stress hormones:
what triggers it aside from sweat/wet and cold wind exposure
I understand you said it's not always these things but it is enough to be noted. These things commonly use up available glucose with increased energy expenditure, aka drop in glucose and equivalent raising stress hormones.
Knots/achiness
Hypometabolism slows muscle repair
Puffier face
Estrogen
Softer boners
antagonized testosterone
Less energy
low thyroid
Headaches/nausea
elevated gut/brain serotonin
Frequent and urgent urination/weak bladder
poor liver metabolism/ low thyroid
Weaker voice
yelling at privates all day -- "GET UP SOLDIER" (jk)
Have you checked temps and pulse waking and mid day? then, have you checked them against a dose of t3?
-
@LetTheRedeemed well you didn’t give much detail, from what you said sounds normal. If anyone eats bad food several days they won’t feel ideal, and white on tongue most people have every morning.
If you take each of those symptoms and label them as a symptom of stress hormones sure it’d no doubt work, but then if someone has the common cold and most of those symptoms because of it, you wouldn’t say it’s from stress hormones, it’s from the common cold.
Now say it is from stress hormones, then what would trigger them? How do I prevent them from occasionally giving me those symptoms?
I found no pattern in the occurrence. I can get great sleep, steel boners, great energy, great diet, plenty cals, solid training pump and cardio feels great, and out of nowhere I’ll wake up with some of the symptoms coming in.
Had it been a fast triggers it or certain food or activity then easily I’d avoid getting them.
-
@LetTheRedeemed I haven’t tracked temps much. Did experiment with T3 and noticed nothing every time. If my thyroid is not ideal, nothing I can do that I’m not already doing.
