have been a brooding, negative mess recently. does anyone have any recommendations for reducing mood swings / anger issues through bioenergetics?

i usually feel more clear headed, positive and energetic when i incorporate the carrot salad, and i have fallen off of that wagon in the past couple of weeks.

any potential causes or things to look out for to avoid this issue? it sometimes negatively affects my personal relationships. thank you

@raytreats I think CBD and better yet, CBDA can help a great deal. It isn’t necessarily Bioenergetic but it works quite well for many people.

@raytreats The carrot salad may have been preventing bacterial overgrowth. Cutting it out couldve caused more bacteria -> more serotonin -> worse mood

Dr. Peat IMHO really missed the boat with not studying the endocannabinoid system recent discoveries.

CBD and even better, CBDA, the carboxylated version, can help keep nerves from firing spontaneously, thus addressing irritability. I spoke to someone yesterday who has used it very successful for bipolar also.

definitely carrot salad will help with endotoxin overgrowth, as well as possibly some daily cascara sagrada. L-Theanine and caffeine can be effective, could be as simple as getting a matcha, yerba mate or green tea to boot your mood.

@raytreats Doing things like doomscrolling Telegram and X are problems for some. Screen time in general is a problem for most. Positive offline social connection and healthy regular dopamine from hobbies, wholesome food and being outside, etc. are also helpful for mood.

@Serotoninskeptic i think this was it, because the day i posted this, i went home and made a carrot salad. the next day i felt noticeably better in terms of energy and mood. i also like to eat white rice which i heard Georgi mention on a podcast causes endotoxin growth.

@raytreats I eliminated my chronic anger with dextrose. I am more resilient to stress than I have ever been in my adult life.
