hello all. I have a euphoric shit this morning per usual but I just shat once more and this one was bloody when I wiped. I have not had this before. I have been peating quite seriously for about a year now, and I feel i have quite good digestive flow. (poop 2-4 times a day typically, very few wipes, little to no pain and discomfort, euphoric.) Curious what could be the cause of this, or maybe was just a fluke and I will be fine next round. Anyone had similar experiences? I have no pain etc, just bloody poop apparently.

RE: sometimes grind teeth when sleep at night
@mostlylurking what Vit. D do you use? is it a liquid or pill, I had a buddy recommend a D3 liquid, doubt it matters much frankly, just curious.

RE: sometimes grind teeth when sleep at night
@mostlylurking Thanks for the tips I will look into it all and return to report, I frankly don't know how often i do it or how bad it is, but my dad grinds real bad and is now 55 and basically gonna need to get all his teeth removed and just have dentures. I don't think I do it as bad as him but definitely something I dont want to deal with. Whats TMJ btw?

Sleep and why I am sleeping on the floor
I find myself in the course of the night switching from sleeping on my back (my usual starting position) to ending up on my stomach which always puts my arms and shoulders in horrible positions i.e. tucked under me or some bullshit. Recently I have had a growing pain in my left shoulder I think solely due to this fact. It hasn't affected me much in my day to day, its only a very specific position that I feel it (probably the one I have it in whilst sleeping.) However I don't find this peaty nor sustainable to keep worsening this problem. So that being said
A. I need advice for getting myself to sleep solely on my back. I have begun sleeping on the floor with a blanket as a bit of padding under me and this has seemed to help some (also has helped getting out of bed in the morning become a breeze, and even though I feel like I wake up more in the night doing it i still tend to feel more rested throughout the day.) But I will still find myself waking up from time to time on my stomach.
B. I know ive heard stomach and side sleeping are horrible for you but other than this shoulder pain what are those reasons, I am not actually aware of them. help scare me out of stomach sleeping please!Eventually I would like to get a legit floor mat setup or something to allow for a bit more comfort through the night but I think these are the beginning steps to get me on the right track. Thank you for any guidance on this topic.
(also unsure why I have had the urge or thought that sleeping on the floor could help, it was just a gut feeling and I always trust my gut, it seems to be doing some good things for me thus far.) -
RE: Strangest Placebo Effect You've Encountered and How I Vomited for Eight Hours
@LinDaiyu Just this past weekend I had a very large workload and when I got home, my brother in law was in town visiting. He began feeling ill and so did I. Unsure if it was because of him or because of over exertion. Either way I always make it a point to stay in a clear mental state, and convincing my body that I am not sick. This doesn't necessarily mean disregarding it completely. I still take peaty precautions to prevent further worsening. I.E. mega Vit C, MB and aspirin. As well as getting proper rest and sleep to heal. But it was night and day us both being sick throughout Sunday into the evening. And then waking up Monday morning. I had been speaking wellness into myself and applying aforementioned peaty remedies and I felt near 100% that next morning besides a bit of lingering achiness. But was well enough to have two meetings that morning and then work my typical shift that afternoon. Whereas he was moping all day and practically bedridden. This could also be due to factors such as peating and eating good whole foods in general allowing my body to recoup faster. But I definitely have seen enough evidence from utilizing this trick many times in my life to see that it drastically improves my mental clarity and health state whilst sick and recovery is much much quicker.

RE: Peaty hiking/camping meals
Lots of dried fruits for snacking for sure, there are some decent meat products jerky adjacent that are pretty clean, biltong being one. that's also more of a snack than a meal. Gelatin powder bloomed in water though not very yummy is very protein dense and is light weight. Could add in some honey or sugar though to make it a bit tastier.
May be worth getting your own freeze drier and making some dishes before hand to then freeze dry and take with you.
