RE: mood swings / irritability cures
definitely carrot salad will help with endotoxin overgrowth, as well as possibly some daily cascara sagrada. L-Theanine and caffeine can be effective, could be as simple as getting a matcha, yerba mate or green tea to boot your mood.

Raymond on L-Theanine
looking for a peat quote about l theanine's effects on either the serotonin or the cortisol in the brain? I don't recall exactly but would love to find it.

Am I retarded?
I do daily oil pulls as part of my mouthcare routine, with coconut MCT oil. My sink however has become slow to drain, I am unsure how to remedy this without toxic chemicals but would like a fully functioning sink again, and would like to continue oil pulling. any ideas of fixing this? also am i retarded for spitting oil down the sink?

RE: Amantadine is goated.
@latin Did you have any struggle getting this prescribed? My GF has been struggling with her depression/ OCD big time since coming off SNRI's and I've helped her supplement some things that make it manageable but when I had her bring up Amantadine to the doctor he shot it down immediately and tried to get her back on SNRI's. I really think Amantadine might be the ticket though. Any tips on getting the doctor to approve a prescription? I will for the time being probably just order Diamant from Georgi, also have looked at ordering Amantadine from Mexico but I think it would get stopped at the border.

RE: 5 Substances I would take to treat depression before SSRIs and why
How do you recommend supplementing Cypro
I have administered it to my GF with seemingly no effect except it making her drowsy/ groggy the next day. we used georgi's and did 2-4 drops (1-2mg) every two or three nights but only did it two or three times as I saw no noticeable effects, thoughts? -

Sup stack ideas for Anxiety, Stress, Depression, OCD
GF struggles alot with the aforementioned things, and has been quite irritable since coming off her SNRI. Currently Daily she does the following:
L-Theanine Powder (100mg) or a cup of Matcha (even the matcha doesnt have as much L-Theanine but I think the caffeine really helps mellow her out as it seems to be more effective than just the powder)
B1,2,3 100mg each
Aspirin 300ish mg daily
D3-K2
Cascara Sagrada pill daily (her acne has flared up I think mostly due to stress, but she started Minocycline just the other day because its relatively harmless and has helped her clear up in the past.)
Occasional supplementation (cycling) with progesteroneThats about it
I've messed around with Tacovit and cyproheptadine but neither have seemed to have much effect.
I've seen positive things about basically all of the following items in peat quotes/interview or peat adjacent stuff. Any thoughts on any of them?
Magnesium
Agmatine
Lithium Orotate
Pregnenalone
NAC
Glycine
Myo-Inositol
Selenium
clonidine
amantadine
memantine
insoitol
Herbs like Valerian Root, Lemond Balm, Chamomile etcJust looking for a concise effective sup stack that we can use to help her get her feet under her, I hope this thread can help foster discussion for others with similar issues as well and we can find something that works for everyone, Cheers!

RE: Doxycycline
@Cearrson I wanted to just order it off of chewy but you need a pet prescription for it as well, thought I found a slick loophole.
-
RE: Doxycycline
@Cearrson it seems you need a prescription for all these tetracycline drugs as well. any effective over the counter alternatives or is it worth just getting the prescription? She just isnt from here and doesnt have a local doctor to get it from, but that could be remedied fairly easily ofc.
-
RE: Doxycycline
@Cezar4911 Did your acne come back at all after going off? any adverse effects? My gf is thinking about going on minocycline and I'm just trying to gauge the effectiveness of the tetracycline class drugs. Is doxycycline the preffered option?

RE: ACNE and ACNE SCARS are ruining my life. I have tried literally everything!
@edouard good i think the flow of digestion as well as controlling endotoxins and making sure youre body is getting rid of them is key so they dont get reabsorbed causing more issues.
-
RE: ACNE and ACNE SCARS are ruining my life. I have tried literally everything!
how many times a day do you poop? Even if you feel your gut microbiome is healthy this could be the issue. taking something like carrot salad daily to control overgrowth and endotoxins, as well as taking cascara sagrada or something adjacent to keep everything moving could be beneficial. Also daily aspirin to help deplete excess estrogen. Any major stressors in your life? are you overly anxious or stressed etc? These things can play heavily into it. I've been helping my gf figure out her acne naturally as well and its been a bitch for sure but anytime she has something that spikes her cortisol/serotonin it gets much worse. Doing what you can to avoid unnecessary stressors could go a long way.

RE: Ideas for getting more CO2 into your everyday routine
Of course just living in or getting to higher elevation spots is the most ideal as well to continually be exposed to higher levels. Peats states that 2000m+ is ideal for this to have much effect though so may not be plausible. But if its a matter a life or death this could be helpful.

RE: Ideas for getting more CO2 into your everyday routine
Bag/Milk jug breathing. buteyko breathing. Sleeping in a blanket fort or with something over your head / sleeping cap.
Here is a segment that is very similar. Instead of doing a full bath sounds like he just fills bags around his legs and arms and even a swim cap on his head with CO2 and sleeps that way.

Honey mask for acne?
My girlfriend has been slowly dropping zogged products and incorporating more holistic methods of hygiene and health. Etc. She has been on SNRI's for some time but has been weaning off. Its hard to say if acne has come back due to increased anxiety and stress due to the lack of her medicine or if its been caused by the product she has started using (Which I doubt, it has great reviews. she started using Kossma products.) theres nothing else harmful anymore she really uses so im thinking its the uptick in stress causing it. So with that being said, any guidance in trying to fix that? Shes thought about going back on the SNRI which I'm sure would do it but Obviously not the ideal option. Was just thinking of other methods to employ either to lessen the anxiety/ stress or to fend off the acne. Honey masks is something I've heard of. she takes aspirin, progesterone, eats liver with me once a week or so, gets plenty of sunlight, though we could be better about carrot salad daily. She is just a very anxious person which is I think the root of it all. and ive never dealt with much anxiety or stress so when it comes to that I draw blanks. I also just got her a shower water filter so hope that at the very least helps prevent more bacteria and shit from getting in and worsening the acne already caused by stress. Sorry this is rambly, just don't know where to go from here. Cheers.
